One-Punch Man

One-Punch Man (Japanese: ワンパンマン Hepburn: Wanpanman?) is an ongoing Japanese webcomic created by an author using the pseudonym One, which began publication in early 2009.[3] The series quickly went viral, surpassing 7.9 million hits in June 2012.[4] The Japanese shortened name Wanpanman is a play on the long-running children's character Anpanman,[5] wanpan being a contraction of wanpanchi ("one punch").[6]
A digital manga remake of the series, illustrated by Yusuke Murata, began publication on Shueisha's Young Jump Web Comics website in 2012.[3] Viz Media has licensed the remake for English serialization in its Weekly Shonen Jump digital magazine.[7] A television anime adaptation by Madhouse aired in Japan between October and December 2015.[8][9][10]

Plot

The story takes place in the fictional Japanese metropolis of City Z. The world is full of strange monsters that mysteriously appear and cause disasters. Saitama, the protagonist of the series, is the strongest hero, who easily defeats the monsters or other villains with a single punch. However, due to his overwhelming strength, Saitama has become bored with his power and is constantly trying to find stronger opponents who can present a challenge to him.
As Saitama is active as a hero, he meets various other heroes and villains. He gets a disciple, the cyborg Genos, and consequently joins the Heroes Association in order to gain official recognition. Despite defeating many strong monsters that even the Heroes Association’s top members are unable to defeat, Saitama struggles to gain respect. Most people look down on him due to his plain physical appearance, and some accuse him of being a counterfeit hero. Only a small number of individuals in the series recognize his talent and humility towards others.

  1. Main characters

    Saitama (サイタマ Saitama)
    Voiced by: Makoto Furukawa[1]
Hero name: "Caped Baldy" (ハゲマント Hage Manto)
The protagonist of the story, Saitama, is a powerful hero with superhuman strength, speed, and endurance, along with near complete invulnerability. Though his powers are limited to improvements on typical human traits (e.g., he cannot fly or project energy), his physical capabilities are so preposterously advanced that no enemy has ever inflicted serious damage to him. By contrast, his strength is so immense that most of his targets fall to a single punch, killing them, hence the title of the series.
He is a slender muscular man currently at the age of 25 and is bald, supposedly due to his excessive training. Saitama has always been heroic, saving the innocent from the mysterious beings that appear in his world, however, he never receives any credit for it, though he eventually joined the Hero Association (ヒーロー協会 Hīrō Kyōkai) and has since risen up to class A rank 39. After defeating so many without effort, he feels bored and empty inside, endlessly searching for opponents who will pose a challenge to him. He is despised by more selfish members of the Hero Association and normal people, the former because he takes fame and credibility away from them by defeating enemies so easily (especially ones who have defeated multiple high level heroes) and the latter because of his total lack of heroic nature or charisma (he doesn't care about public opinion or property damage, only that the people in danger are saved). Despite this, Saitama is shown to have far more moral fiber than most registered heroes in the series and his lack of desire for fame allows him to make far better decisions when it comes to facing enemies, such as when he disguises himself as a policeman to defeat a monster that wreaked havoc in a police station and caused people to lose faith in the police.
Saitama wears a yellow tracksuit with a small zip and a belt during his hero activities. He also wears red boots and gloves, including a white cape. When he is in casual wears, Saitama often wears a hoodie that says "oppai" ("boobs" in romanized Japanese), with a stylised drawing of a pair of breasts underneath.
Prior to the beginning of the series, Saitama was an ordinary school kid back in middle school. When a teacher asked Saitama to come into the teacher's office to scold him for not doing some of his homework, he was confronted by bullies who demanded his money. Saitama didn't care about being bullied, and he was poor like those bullies. When a piggy bank monster attacked the bullies and stole Saitama's money from them, one bully regretted his action, revealing he just wanted to feed his sick brother. Saitama's heroism was awakened for the first time, and he chased after the monster to get the money back. Though he did his best, Saitama was not powerful enough to beat the monster.
As an adult, he is an unemployed salaryman who became depressed after many rejections. One day, Saitama saved a child from a monster. This action spawned two major consequences: the child's powerful relative created the Hero Association, and Saitama decided to become a hero on a whim, based on the heroes from his childhood. After training every day for three years with an "inhuman" workout routine of 100 push-ups, 100 sit-ups, 100 squats, and running 10 kilometers every single day, he gained superhuman strength and speed but lost his hair. Although Saitama believes his strength is a result of everyday workouts, everyone who hears of his methods, including Genos, find it to be a ludicrous idea; later in the series, Dr. Genus from the House of Evolution theorizes that all living creatures have natural limiters and that Saitama's strength came after somehow removing his own, while an official from the Hero Association believes Saitama has some sort of supernatural power that awakened when he started down the path to heroism. It is shown in his fight with Lord Boros that he constantly holds back his true strength so as to make fights last longer, but when he gets serious his attacks can cause tsunamis and inter-continental shock waves. During the fight with Boros, his punch is shown to counter an attack which could potentially obliterate the planet.
He is initially ranked low in C-class due to him barely passing the hero exam as, despite being the top candidate of the physical exam, he flunked the written test which held more weight. Upon helping with some mysterious beings, stopping the giant meteor in Z-City and defeating the Sea-King, he is advanced to the lowest rank in B-class. Prior to encountering Garou, Saitama's rank remains at B-Class Rank 7 (A-Class Rank 39 in webcomics).
According to Genos, Saitama's true potential does not lie within his appearance, but in the way he did his best on training himself to become a true superhero caused him to receive his own super strength after three years of training for a greater good, which is the reason why most of many heroes and civilians who came across with him during his battle with the villains, praise not only his ability, but also his pure heroic deeds.
    Genos (ジェノス Jenosu)
    Voiced by: Kaito Ishikawa[1]
Hero name: "Demon Cyborg" (鬼サイボーグ Oni Saibōgu)
Genos is a cyborg who decided to become Saitama's disciple after bearing witness to Saitama's easy victory over Mosquito Girl. While Saitama was adamantly against his decision, he accepted after Genos suggested paying part of his rent. Genos tells Saitama about the Hero Association when he hears Saitama's complaints about not being recognized despite his actions, and they both decide to take the official hero exam and become registered super heroes. Genos is often overzealous and defensive when Saitama is not recognized by the other heroes for his feats, despite Saitama himself not really caring. Genos is a very serious character, and is constantly annoying Saitama to teach him how to become stronger. Saitama soon agrees to make Genos his disciple, who then becomes very, protective towards his "teacher", although due to Saitama’s incredible strength, he does not believe that Saitama became stronger through the mundane training regiment he did to get his powers.
Throughout the series he starts becoming more easy-going, due to Saitama’s influence on him. He starts to respect Saitama for his character, and not just for his powers. Genos’ variety of special techniques, and battle tactics are a contrast to Saitama’s clueless and often anticlimactic fighting style, though in the end, Saitama always outshines him with one punch. However, Genos has earned greater recognition than Saitama as a hero, thanks to his diligence and handsome appearance. He immediately became an S-Class superhero at Rank 14 as soon as he was accepted into the Hero Association after effortlessly passing both the written and physical test, whereas Saitama was designated a C-Class hero.
Before meeting Saitama, Genos, at age 15 was still a human being living a happy and peaceful life along with his family. One day, an out-of-control cyborg attacked their town and destroyed it, killing his family. Genos miraculously survived, but he wouldn't survive long alone in his ruined town if he wasn't found by Dr. Stench who passed the town pursuing the cyborg. Genos begged Dr. Stench to transform him into a cyborg, who complied. Genos was reborn as a cyborg fighting for justice and promised Dr. Stench that one day he would find and destroy the cyborg. For the next four years, Genos traveled from town to town defeating monsters and evil organisations, but was unable to find the whereabouts of the cyborg.
As Genos is a full functioning cyborg his entire body has been replaced with combat-ready cybernetics and prostheses, giving him an extreme level of strength and speed, as well as advanced sensors and projectile attacks. The weapons he uses while in combat are:
The Core: Genos' cyborg parts are powered by an orb in his chest labeled "core," presumably designed by Dr. Kuseno. Genos has shown to be able to put his core into the shoulder of his arm, throwing all of his energy into his heat beams.
Armor and Replacement Parts: Genos gains not only incredible durability from his armored body, but also benefits from the nature of robotic equipment itself. Genos can lose limbs or have his body torn asunder, only to return to perfect 'health' through replacement parts and repairs (the source of the replacement parts is unclear). As an android, Genos does not seem to feel pain, and can keep fighting even when missing limbs or injured severely.
Incineration Cannons: Genos' palms contain ports which allow him to fire large and powerful blasts of heat or flame significant distances. A blast from his palms was powerful enough to obliterate a multistory building which was the base of House of Evolution. Later, while sparring with Saitama, Genos reveals cannons built into his fists and arms which can produce even stronger blasts. Genos has also been shown to be able to reduce the power of his blasts to a warm breeze, which he uses to dry dishes.
Sensors: Genos' android body contains a number of passive and active sensors which allow him to scan the environment for enemies, both during active combat and while scouting from a distance. The sensors are not perfect however, as they can still be fooled by the extreme speed of an opponent like Saitama, and their usefulness is limited by Genos' reaction time.
Arms Mode: A prototype weapon system that Genos possesses. When inactive it takes the form of a suitcase. To activate it, Genos pushes a button on the handle and then throws it in front of him. The suitcase splits down the middle and separates, each half then opening revealing the "arms" inside with the container then flipping back to become the attaching mechanism. Genos then throws his arms into the new "arms" and they attach to him causing quite a bit of electrical discharge. When the "arms" fully attach, parts run up his shoulders and neck and his face is framed by pieces of metal. The new arms are much thicker and are all black, with the blaster on his palm having changed shape as well. While using these arms, Genos was shown to be able to move his core to the shoulder of his right arm, directing all of his power into a massive blast.

    Hero Association

An organization founded by a multi-millionaire in order to fight monsters, crimes and various threats. The Association uses a class-system, with 4 classes (from C to S) and ranks within those classes, to organize every superhero accordingly. Right now, the Association counts about 547 heroes (17 S-Class, 39 A-Class, 101 B-Class and 390 C-Class).

    S-Class Heroes

Blast (ブラスト Burasuto) - Rank 1
The most powerful hero in the whole Association, whose whereabouts and identity are currently unknown. He looks like an average man with a superhero costume and a cape. He is said to show up on his own terms and seldom responds to requests from the Hero Association. As one official of the Association mentioned, Blast may only truly reveal himself when a "God" level threat endangers humanity. During Tatsumaki's imprisonment in a research facility, she was attacked by a monster; Blast arrived and killed the monster in an instant, but he pointed out that she could have killed the monster on her own. He then encouraged Tatsumaki to never depend on others but herself. Coincidentally, He treats his job as a hobby same as Saitama's.
Tornado of Terror (戦慄のタツマキ Senritsu no Tatsumaki) - Rank 2
    Voiced by: Aoi Yūki[1]
An incredibly strong esper possessing unmatchable psychic powers whose youthful appearance belies her true age. She is very proud, but stubbornly acts childishly and is not above insulting or attacking people who annoy her. True to her rank, she is much stronger than even her fellows S-class heroes and is able to crash even "Dragon" level monsters with no or little effort (while some of the other S-Class heroes can't even defeat a single "Dragon" class monster without help); with her immense telekinetic powers she could even uproot an entire underground base along with all of its inhabitants. It is later revealed that as a child she was taken from her family and held in a research facility that continually tested her powers, being her a prodigious child even among other espers; additionally, her sister Fubuki, while not as powerful, was bullied in school. As a result of this, Tatsumaki developed a sociopathic nature and is overprotective with her sister to the point of wanting to erase any of Fubuki's connections with others since she feels she and her sister do not need to rely on anyone else. She wears a long black dress that separates into four sections a little below the waist. Incidentally, Tatsumaki makes a cameo in ONE's other manga Mob Psycho 100.
During the Demonic Fan side story she came to pick her sister from the scene and after she dismantled the monster in an instant, she took an unconscious Fubuki and left. In the anime, she appeared during the rumored monster of Z-City arc, interested in taking care of the creature by herself, but the Association informed her that was not a danger dire enough to require an S-Class hero and told her not to go, fact that Tatsumaki didn't accept easily. In the anime again she fought the terrible monster Ancient King moments before the S-Class meeting, which she killed in a second by squashing him under a giant meteor dragged with her powers.
Tatsumaki made her first canonical appearance at the S-Class Hero Association meeting, perpetrated in the headquarter of the Association in A-City, moments before the Dark Matter Thieves attacked. After the destruction of A-City caused by the aliens, she and other S-Class heroes reached the roof of the Association headquarter to find a way to attack the alien spaceship, but they did come out with nothing, since the ufo was too far in the sky; when Superalloy Darkshine asked King's opinion, he replied him not to have the possibility to attack the ufo, too far away from him, and caused the anger of Tatsumaki, which found that attitude overly uncaring. When Geryuganshoop ordered a massive bombing upon the heroes which were fighting Melzalgald, Tatsumaki blocked the projettiles with her telekinesis and sent them back to the ship, causing huge damages to it. Moments later, Tatsumaki tried to down the ship by throwing enormous debris to it with her powers (outmatching by far Tanktop Master's physical strength, which was trying to do the same). When the alien ship was downed by Saitama, she was about to pick a fight with him and Genos, since Saitama continued to ignore her, but she was stopped by Bang. During Tatsumaki Day Off side story, she got a day off from her duty to kill monsters and she became quickly annoyed, since she's got nothing else to do; she tried then to encounter some monster by wandering to the city, but she only came across dead monsters which Saitama accidentally killed before she could. Starting to become mad, she rushed to quickly find some monster and encountered the "Wolf" level monster Hot Dog when he was about to fight the C-Class hero Armored Chief Clerk. Before the hero could start the fight, Tatsumaki obliterated the monster in a moment, leaving Armored Chief Clerk speechless. Finally feeling relieved, she flew off.
During the attack to the Monster Association, she was one of the selected hero sent to attack the enemy headquarter; she sensed and directly encountered the leader Psykos, starting with her a fight between psychich users. However, Tatsumaki defeated Psykos' "meat puppet" in no time with her superior abilities and discovered the true identity and position of the monster, located hundreds of meters away from the fight. Tatsumaki, totally unimpressed, started to drag her out from her position with her psychic powers and arrived to flip the entire headquarter upside down. When the Monster Association base was nothing but ruins, Tatsumaki tried to face alone all the strongest members of the enemy Association (Fuhrer Ugly, Gums, Black Sperm, Homeless Emperor and Evil Natural Water) but before she could start the fight, Psykos popped out from her location and attacked Tatsumaki by surprise with a psychic block, nullifying his powers and letting the other members hardly beat her: Fuhrer Ugly hit Tatsumaki with a direct blow, causing immense damage to her, and Black Sperm grabbed her with a giant morphed arm and tried to smash her to the ground, but he was stopped by Genos which carbonized the monster's arm with one of his attacks. After few time, Tatsumaki recovered a little from the beating and dispelled the monster Evil Natural Water with her psychic powers; Black Sperm was then the last monster remained and in order to not succumb against the powerful esper he fused 1 trillion of himselfs to create "Multicell Sperm", attacking Tatsumaki with him and a thousand of separated himselfs; Tatsumaki was able to kill every enemy in her sight in few moments, but that attack was just a diversion to permit Black Sperm to reach Busaiku and take him as a hostage again. Plus, in that moments he created "Golden Sperm" fusing every himselfs left except the one hundred which took Busaiku as hostage. Golden Sperm reveals an unstoppable opponent and defeated an exhausted Tatsumaki with ease. Moments later, when Garou arrived and was fighting alone all the heroes to the scene, Tatsumaki tried to block him with her powers but being Garou too much strong and since the esper was highly weakened by the battle with the previous monsters, she ended up defeated.
After the defeat of the Monster Association, Tatsumaki discovered that Psykos was still alive and kept locked into the new Hero Association headquarter's special prison for monsters and rushed there to finish her, finding the Fubuki Group members put by Fubuki herself to guard the entrance for the purpose of slow Tatsumaki down. After the S-Class hero knocked out most of the members with ease, Eyelashes, Mountain Ape and other two members still standing tried to block Tatsumaki with a special psychic move Fubuki taught them, the "Psychic Bindind"; however, Tatsumaki felt nothing and toss them unconscious against the wall. When Tatsumaki arrived into the prison, Fubuki tried to resist her sister starting a fight with her hard enough to cause earthquakes to all the Hero Association new headquarter and smash the jails' walls where various monsters were been kept locked (even though part of the monsters were killed by Fubuki's attacks and the rest were eliminated by Saitama before they could cause troubles). Despite Fubuki put all of herself to stop the sister, it was utterly pointless; in the moment when Tatsumaki was about to make her sister unconscious, Saitama intervened to rescue Fubuki. Saitama started then a fight with Tatsumaki, carrying her away from the scene to avoid other damages, and the esper found out part of the incredible power of Saitama, since she tried to kock him out with quite enough power but her opponent was still unharmed. During their tremendous fight they ended up in N-City and broke into the Iron Fist gang's base when the A-Class hero Feather was about to fight the mafia boss Big Iron; Big Iron then, thinking they came to support the hero, recognized Tatsumaki and incited his men to take her down in order to become famous, attacking Saitama first since he was in his way. Saitama effortlessly knocked Big Iron out and Tatsumaki defeated the rest of the gang with ease, then they both disappeared continuing their fight. The two moved on and Tatsumaki started to bring back Saitama to the Hero Association new headquarter with her powers, passing through and killing with carelessness the "Dragon" level monster Needlepoint Mouse, which was causing avoc in N-City. She also defeated Speed-o'-Sound Sonic, since he interjected to challenge Saitama once again, by tossing back at him his new special high speed tracking explosive shuriken. Once back to the base, Tatsumaki started to feel weak because she didn't recovered yet from the harsh battle with the Monster Association; Saitama then proposed to stop the fight but the esper opened a chasm under his feet with her powers and let him precipitate there to keep him busy for a little while, with the intention of finish her dispute with Fubuki, Tatsumaki came back to face her sister again. She found out that Fubuki's former group still follows her to help their leader in the battle, owing her debts whether they are still a group or not since the groups' bonds will never fade away. Tatsumaki tried then to intimidate the group members by throwing a big stone to them but Mountain Ape intercepted the rock with his great strength. After all the members prepared to fight at their top, the fight was stopped due to the still convalescent status of Tatsumaki, the arrive of Saitama which returned from underground and since Tatsumaki understood a little the deep bond between Fubuki and her group. Tatsumaki decided then to leave and after Saitama tried to follow her, she was about to reveal the reason of her behaviour but, on second thought, she decided not and came back to the new Hero Association headquarter alone.
Silver Fang (シルバーファング Shirubā Fangu) - Rank 3
    Voiced by: Kazuhiro Yamaji[2]
An old man known to be the most expert martial artist, master of the "Water Stream Rock Smashing Fist" (流水岩砕拳 Ryūsui Gaisai-ken), and one of the most powerful human combatants in the world, he's also probably the oldest hero in the whole Association and one of few people to know Saitama's true power. His real name is Bang (バング Bangu) and he has an older brother named Bomb, who is also a martial artist. When Saitama told him about his reason for being a hero is a hobby, Saitama reminded Bang of his former disciple, Garou, who was formerly Bang's number one disciple until he expelled him for choosing the wrong path of being a villainous monster. After Garou beaten most of Bang's disciples and scared the rest, Bang had only one disciple left named Charanko, who is also pretty weak. Despite expelling his former number one disciple, Bang still cares for Garou and like Saitama, he too may have made some mistakes. He wears a dark jersey with light colored pants and kung fu shoes.
Bang made his first appearance during the disaster of the giant meteor, being one of the few S-Class heroes which responded to the call to go into Z-City in order to stop the level "Dragon" threat; however the task was totally impossible for him to resolve and he decided to stay in Z-City only because it's his original city and he didn't want to abandon his dojo, owned by his family since generations. He met Genos at the local Heroes Association's location and informed him about the current facts. Later on, he followed Genos on top of a high building moments before the cyborg made his attack to the meteor and, since he was freaking out by the gravity of the situation, Bang calmed him with a wise speech. After Saitama destroyed the meteor, Bange acknowledged his true power with great surprise and, when the meteor's shreds went down to the city, he protected Genos' exhausted body with his "Water Stream Rock Smashing Fist" technique, destroying some of the fragments, but after he understood that the disaster was too huge and the building was about to collapse, he took Genos and left it with a large jump. Bang makes a small appearance standing on a roof when Tanktop Tiger and Tanktop Black Hole were trying to break Saitama, watching the scene from outside. He solemnly notes that Saitama, like all heroes, will have to bear this hatred even for their beneficial actions. He leaves then Saitama to resolve the problem on his own.
Days later, Bang is seen at his dojo with Charanko, demonstrating his technique for Saitama and Genos. Suddenly, a messenger from the Hero Association arrives and informs Bang that all S-Class heroes have been summoned due to a major crisis. Bang then participated to the S-Class Hero Association meeting, perpetrated in the headquarter of the Association in A-City, moments before the Dark Matter Thieves attacked. After the destruction of A-City caused by the aliens, he joined Atomic Samurai to the fight against Melzalgald, together with Metal Bat and Pri-Pri-Prisoner. During the hard battle, Metal Bat discovered Melzalgald's weak spot: a little marble contained in every head of the alien which is the source of his life; unfortunately, after the heroes destroyed almost all the marbles with great effort, Silver Fang took a direct hit from Melzalgald, at first thought as lethal. However, Silver Fang stood again on his feet, affirming that he let the guard down, and after Atomic Samurai slashed the extraterrestrial's last head to pieces, Bang found the last marble and they finally killed the powerful creature. When Tatsumaki was about to pick a fight with Saitama and Genos after the spaceship was downed, because Saitama kept ignoring her, Silver Fang stopped the powerful esper In a side story, he invited Genos and Saitama to his dojo for lunch, absenting for a while to buy some missing side dish. When he came back, half of his dojo was demolished due to the fight of Saitama and Genos against the Harsh Path Stylists, a gang of criminal martial artists, with great bittern for Silver Fang.
During Garou's "hero hunt", Bang "expelled" Charanko from his dojo to keep him safe from Garou's possible vengeance. However, he ultimately fails when Charanko ignores his secret warning not to go near Garou. Indeed, when Bang called for help his older brother Bomb in order to stop Garou's rampage, they were too late to find him, instead finding the carnage from the beaten forms of the Tanktop Fighters, Tanktop Mater, Licenseless-Rider, and (regretfully for Bang) even Charanko. When the Hero Association decided to trap Garou using A-Class heroes as baits, Bang and Bomb encountered the "Demon" level monster Fist Fight Djinn during his rampage in a random city and which defeated Smile Man in no time, after the hero tried to stop him. Bang then faced alone the monster and, venting his enormous bitterness for Garou's situation, he slaughtered Fist Fight Djinn in an instant. Later on, the two brothers found the human monster when he was about to fight Genos and started a harsh battle with him, overcoming Garou with their superior combined technique, but unfortunately the Monster Association sent three level "Demon" monsters (Royal Ripper, Senior Centipede and The Bug God) to help Garou, which attacked Bang, Bomb, and Genos by surprise when they were about to win and, after giving them a good beating, they ran away carrying Garou with them. Later on, Bang recovered and was invited to Saitama's place for dinner with the other friends of him and they made up their mind about the current situation.
During the attack to the Monster Association, Back came later at the scene (since his phone was accidentally disabled and he was not informed) with Genos, Fubuki, and Bomb, finding Overgrown Rover guarding the entrance and starting a fight against it. The monster revealed tough to the point that neither the combined attacks of the group could defeat it and Bang rhetorically asked why Rover couldn't simply sit down and stay calm; Rover understood that as a command and obediently sit, stopping the fight. The group then remained trapped under the ruins of the heardquarter when Tatsumaki flipped and smashed it. When Genos and Fubuki decided to join the battle, Bang and Bomb too emerged from the rubble and Bang, after a rapid look to the situation, found a lot of dangerous monsters and decided to fight at full potential: he instantly killed Fuher Ugly, Gums and part of Black Sperm but was eventually blocked by Psykos with her psychic powers and totally defeated by Homeless Emperor's full-power attack. After the defeat of Garou by Saitama, he asked Fubuki to free him from the stones that trapped him with her telekinesis and, once free, he reached Garou and asked if he could have settled the situation, since Garou was his former disciple. However, Bang still cares about Garou and wasn't able to execute him but only to punish him for his "bad conduct"; when Sweet Mask insistently asked to finish Garou with no hesitation Bang didn't know what to do and Garou was in real trouble, but since Saitama didn't agree with that and thanks to the intervention of Busaiku which defended Garou, the human monster was able to escape.
Atomic Samurai (アトミック侍 Atomikku Samurai) - Rank 4
    Voiced by: Kenjiro Tsuda
A skilled hero that looks like a classic Japanese samurai with two katanas, one long and the other medium. He has an atom drawn over the back of his coat, a reference to his hero name, and always brings a little stick in his mouth. He is the most powerful swordsman of the Association, probably of the world, and claims he can cut anything, even atoms. It seems that he highly admires Silver Fang. His look, as declared by Murata, is based on the character Kyuzo from the movie Seven Samurai.
Atomic Samurai is first shown at the S-Class Hero Association meeting, perpetrated in the headquarter of the Association in A-City, moments before the Dark Matter Thieves attacked. After the destruction of A-City caused by the aliens, he saved his first disciple, Iaian, from the assault of Melzalgald by slashing him apart; however, the alien fully regenerated and prepared to counterattack. In that moment, Bang, Metal Bat, and Pri-Pri-Prisoner joined the battle against Melzalgald. During the hard battle, Metal Bat discovered Melzalgald's weak spot: a little marble contained in every head of the alien which is the source of his life and the group finally succeeded into killing the alien thanks to that, after Atomic Samurai slashed the extraterrestrial's last head to pieces, finding the marble in it which was destroyed instantly.
During the attack to the Monster Association, he was one of the selected hero sent to attack the enemy headquarter; he encountered Black Sperm and saved Busaiku from the monster, starting a battle with him. After a brilliant start, he began to succumb to the overwhelming power of the monster until he was inevitably defeated. When the entire headquarter was flipped and smashed by Tatsumaki, Atomic Samurai was overhung by the rubble, being able to escape from the ruins and reach the surface only thanks to the help of Pri-Pri-Prisoner, but losing his precious katana. He started then facing Evil Natural Water, charging the powerful creature together with Child Emperor and Pig God in order to induce the monster shooting a lot of its liquid and consume itself thereby making it easy to overcome, but unfortunately the monster didn't consume at all and was about to defeat them, until Tatsumaki recovered a little from the beating and dispelled Evil Natural Water with her psychic powers. Later on, Atomic Samurai fought together with Sweet Mask and all the S-Class heroes to the scene against Garou, borrowing Iaian's sword in an attempt to slice apart the human monster, but he was defeated by Garou with small effort, after the human monster pointed out how "powerless is the fourth most important hero of the Association, not even being able to fight if he doesn't have a sword".
Child Emperor (童帝 Dōtei) - Rank 5
    Voiced by: Minami Takayama
A child genius and inventor who uses his technological creations to fight and the youngest hero in the whole Hero Association. Despite his superior intelligence and weapons, he decided to train his body extensively to become able to fight also with his bare hands; however, even if he's relevantly stronger of a normal fighter, his body is too young to make him strong enough to be a decent S-Class hand-to-hand fighter. His true strength resides in his sophisticated gadgets and massive weapons, that he created by himself, contained into his school bag. He's also a former assistant of Metal Knight and got a personal lab in Y-City. He wears a light buttoned-up collared shirt with dark shorts and always carries his black school bag with him. His name, while literally translated as Child Emperor, can also be used to say "virgin".
Child Emperor is first shown at the S-Class Hero Association meeting, perpetrated in the headquarter of the Association in A-City, moments before the The Dark Matter Thieves attacked. After the destruction of A-City caused by the aliens, he and other S-Class heroes reached the roof of the Association headquarters to find a way to attack the alien spaceship, but came out with nothing, since the ship was too far in the sky.
In a side story, he called a number of heroes to his personal lab to fulfill one of his experiments and test his newest invention: Okame-Chan, a mask-shaped device capable of determining the physical strength of an individual; they were all called moments later to stop a monster's activity, the Jumping Spider. After they arrived to the scene, Child Emperor valued the monster's strength and found it very low, so the other heroes tried to handle it but were easily blown away by the creature because of a misunderstanding of the monster's real capability due to the inability of Okame-Chan to calculate the full potential of an individual. Moments later, Child Emperor too was knocked back by the monster and when he came back to his feet to counterattack, the monster had already been taken down thanks to the intervention of Genos, Bang, Saitama, and Fubuki. Child Emperor then understood that his invention was of no use, since too limited, and came back to his lab.
During the attack to the Monster Association, he was one of the heroes sent to attack the enemy headquarter and planned the surprise attack, also coordinating the team; he met and instantaneously killed Phoenix Man with his powerful gadgets, but moments later he encountered Evil Natural Water and started a battle with it, but was put in hard troubles since all the equipment the child brought reveals pointless against the monster, plus Evil Natural Water destroyed it during their fight. When Child Emperor was about to lose, Tatsumaki flipped and smashed the headquarter with her powers, and the young hero remained trapped unter the debris, trying to contact the Association via cell phone in order to advise it about the enormous threat the Monster Association revealed to be. He was found a few time later by Pri-Pri-Prisoner during his digging through the ruins, which brought him to surface; he then joined the battle against the strongest members of the Monster Association and, after informing King about his plan to defeat Evil Natural Water, he charged the powerful creature together with Pig God and Atomic Samurai, in order to induce the monster shooting a lot of its liquid and consume itself thereby making it easy to overcome, but unfortunately the monster didn't consume at all and was about to defeat them, until Tatsumaki recovered a little from the beating and dispelled Evil Natural Water with her psychic powers. He then carried away from the scene Busaiku, so as to not involve him in the cruel battle. Later on, he fought together with Sweet Mask and all the S-Class heroes at the scene against Garou, who defeated him with a single shot. He recovered from the beating only when Garou was defeated by Saitama and he incited him, together with Sweet Mask and Zombieman, to finish the human monster, but since Saitama didn't agree with that and thanks to the intervention of Busaiku which defended Garou, the human monster was able to escape.
Metal Knight (メタルナイト Metaru Naito) - Rank 6
    Voiced by: Tesshō Genda
A mysterious scientist who uses various remotely controlled robots with high destructive capability, but also others with large assortment of capacity, from reconstructions to healing functions. His real name is Bofoy (ボフォイ Bofoi). With the aid of his inventions, he's reputed to be one of the strongest and most dangerous hero of the Heroes Association and he's the former master of Child Emperor. He's not shown most of the time, since he's very reserved and act mainly through his fighting robots, till now he was fully seen only in one occasion, during which he wore a lab coat over a light shirt. He made his first appearance during the catastrophe of the giant meteor, during which he sent a huge remote controlled robots to the scene which met Genos, there for the purpose of trying to stop the meteor. After the cyborg asked the robot to lend part of its energy to him, Metal Knight refused since he asserted that he was there only to test his new weapons and a change in the energy caliber would be a problem for the results. When the meteor was about to hit the ground, Bofoy's robot fired a volley of large missiles which converged on the meteor and caused a massive explosion, but unfortunately that was not enough to stop the meteor, which continued its fall unharmed much to both Genos and Bofoy's surprise; Metal Knight decided then to retreat. After Lord Boros's defeat and the fall of the Dark Matter Thieves' spaceship, Bofoy, through one of his robots, appeared in the ruins of A-City to collect the remains of the spaceship for the purpose of studying the alien technology. He was delegated to rebuild A-City as the Heroes Association new headquarter and he sent a gigantic robot (at first misunderstood as a threat by Tanktop Master) commandeering multiple drones that wiped off the ruins of the former city and completed the task of rebuilding in just 7 days. When Elder Centipede wrecked havoc to S-City, Bofoy's usual robot arrived and attacked the monster in order to conduct some new weapon test but despite his powerful set of missiles, Elder Centipede only got little to not injured by the hero's attacks. After a short fight, Elder Centipede retreated since their mission to take an important hostage succeeded; however, Bofoy clung his robot to the monster's massive body in order to follow him. Metal Knight told then to Mohican and Pineapple, still present at the scene and holding the unconscious civilians, to leave because of the destruction his weapons could cause. When Saitama arrived at the Heroes Association new headquarter, he started a fight with the robotic security system created by Bofoy, which attacked the hero because it felt the presence of the two monsters Saitama was carrying with him, and destroyed all the robots which tried to stop him. Bofoy was the only one that saw the scene through the camera system and understood part of Saitama's true power; he started then to think of him as a possible threat and decided to secretly keep Saitama's actions under watch.
King (キング Kingu) - Rank 7
    Voiced by: Hiroki Yasumoto[2]
At first believed to be the most physically powerful man on the planet, feared even by others in the S-Class, he is in actuality a completely normal human who has accidentally been credited for most of Saitama's achievements. The only two things abnormal about King are his God-level gaming skills and his exceptionally loud heartbeat when scared, which is ironically feared by his enemies and mistaken as his impressive fighting spirit: "The King Engine". He has three long scars on the left side of his face, caused during one of his first meetings with monsters (which Saitama killed) and typically wears casual habits, sometimes with some anime references on. King's first appearance was during the fight between Sonic and Hammerhead, precisely when Hammerhead crashed part of a building with a huge rock, King was shown as part of the mob which witnessed that. Although, at that point he had yet to be introduced, that is just a hidden cameo. He's official first appearance was at the S-Class Hero Association meeting, perpetrated in the headquarter of the Association in A-City, moments before the The Dark Matter Thieves attacked. After the destruction of A-City caused by the aliens, he and other S-Class heroes reached to roof of the Association headquarter to find a way to attack the alien spaceship, but they did come out with nothing, since the ufo was too far in the sky; when Superalloy Darkshine, that was present at the scene, asked the strongest man's opinion, King replied that he has no possibility to attack the ufo, too far away from him, causing the anger of Tatsumaki, which found that attitude overly uncaring. During a walk in his home city M-City, he involuntarily encounters Tongue Stretcher and his perverse assault on some pedestrian women and even though King barely stood before the mutant without doing anything, the monster got scared to the point that he instantaneously surrendered. Moments later, after he bought a new videogame, the giant robot G4 appeared in front of him and affirmed that he was created by a mysterious secret organization called "The Organization" with the purpose of fight King and collect data about his battle capability. King informed the robot about his inability to fight at full potential with a full bladder and the machine agreed on the suggestion to let him use a toilet first, but if he doesn't return within ten minutes, ten people will be killed every minute delay. However, that was just a ploy since the real intention of King was that to escape the danger and so, when the time came, G4 started to bring destruction to the city; luckily Genos and Saitama arrived by case and the cyborg started to face G4. Returning to his apartment, King started up his new game and, after few moments, he noticed the presence of Saitama, which informed him that he decided to follow the hero to his place after randomly finding him on the street; when they were about to talk of the reason of King's retreat and King was thinking what kind of lie say to him, the monster Giant Crow smashed through half of King's apartment, attracted by Saitama's bald head sparkle, and tried to kill them two. Saitama, believing that the Giant Bird headed for King instead, suggested that King had no choice but to fight it back; unwilling to die from Saitama provoking the bird, King shuts his eyes and shouts the truth behind his alleged heroism. A moment later, Saitama killed the monster and realized that King's alleged fight history and strength were all lies and at the same time King realized that Saitama was the hero who saved him in his previous encounter with a monster, the same hero who King had unfairly taken loans. However, he and Saitama get along well in spite of this, since King never claimed responsibility himself and Saitama doesn't bother about this kind of things. When Fubuki went to Saitama's house for the first time, she assisted speachledd to the arrive of King, which came to take back one of his videogames. During the Jumping Spider side story, he fought against all the 30 underlings of Fubuki at the videogame contest between the Fubuki Group and the group of Saitama's friends and defeated all the enemies in a row. During Garou's "hero hunt", he was called by the Hero Association to help them protect the Association's sponsors, upon which King replied to ask someone else since he was busy defeating a monster (in reality a monster of a video game). Later on, he was invited to Saitama's place for dinner with the other friends of him and they made up their mind about the current situation. During the attack to the Monster Association, he arrived together with Genos, Fubuki, Bang and Bomb and, since they divided into two groups, he ended up alone since he was considered strong enough to go by himself. After he found Busaiku, Tatsumaki flipped and smashed the Monster Association's headquarter and he remained hidden with the kid, until the most skilled members of the Monster Association were about to win: in that precise moment King showed himself without even knowing what exactly do. Luckily, when all the remained monsters were about to attack King concurrently, the majority of the S-Class heroes at the scene, Fubuki and Sweet Mask emerged from the ruins and started to face the monsters; when Child Emperor told him his plan to defeat Evil Natural Water and then joined the battle, King said nothing and internally prepared to escape. When Golden Sperm and what remained of Black Sperm took Busaiku as a hostage and was about to overcome the heroes, King, from far away, tried out his final move: the "Ultime Hellfire Wavemotion Cannon" (煉獄無双爆熱波動砲 Rengoku Musō Bakunetsu Hadō-hō), a powerful blast of energy that destroyed the monster in an instant. However, that just happened in King's mind, since in realty his true intention was only to buy some time, until Saitama's arrive, and after that expedient, he ran away from the battlefield (the other heroes justified the miscast of the attack with the fact that the monster had still a hostage and, after watching him ran away, the monster thought that it was some sort of a strange curse-attack). During his run he met Fubuki after her battle against Garou, totally traumatized by the human monster's current strength, and moments later they both witness to the victory of Saitama against Garou. When Saitama was questioned about the destruction of Bofoy's robotic security system, which Saitama caused, King casually arrived and covered his friend, saying that he saw the robots explode by itself.
Zombieman (ゾンビマン Zonbiman) - Rank 8
    Voiced by: Takahiro Sakurai[2]
A practically immortal hero who can regenerate from any wound, who is later revealed to be a former test subject of the House of Evolution. During a mission to investigate the House of Evolution current activity, he found out it became a mere takoyaki restaurant and after asking to Doctor Genus the reason, he has become aware of Saitama's true power, though he still has his doubts. His fighting abilities are not keen as those of the other S-Class heroes, so he uses various kind of weapons to fight (guns, an hatchet, a sword and so on) as well as his relentless determination to wear down otherwise invulnerable enemies. He has an incredibly pale skin and wears a worn out coat, open over a black shirt, and light pants. Zombieman is first shown at the S-Class Hero Association meeting, perpetrated in the headquarter of the Association in A-City, moments before the The Dark Matter Thieves attacked. During the attack to the Monster Association he was one of the selected hero sent to attack the enemy headquarter; he met and killed Vampire (Pureblood), after a hard fight, thanks to his immense regeneration capacity. After he healed from the injuries of the battle, he encountered Homeless Emperor and was carbonized by his immense power many times. When he was trying to buy some time, speaking with his enemy and waiting to regenerate, the entire headquarter was flipped and smashed by Tatsumaki and Zombieman was then overhung by the rubble, deciding to wait under the rubble until his body regenerated from the deep wounds. After he was fully recovered, he attacked Homeless Emperor by surprise and blocked the monster under his body, making him impossible to use his power against Zombieman without getting involved. He started then an interrogation to understand the nature of the monster's powers, but before Homeless Emperor could say anything, he was killed by the same mysterious entity which gave him his powers. Later on, he fought together with Sweet Mask and all the S-Class heroes to the scene against Garou, but was effortlessly shattered by him. Even after he regenerated and tried to talk with Garou to understand his reasons, he could only powerless assist to his companions' overthrow and was eventually wounded that much by Garou that was sidelined. He healed from the wounds only when Garou was defeated by Saitama and he incited him, together with Sweet Mask and Child Emperor, to finish the human monster, but since Saitama didn't agree with that and thanks to the intervention of Busaiku which defended Garou, the human monster was able to escape.

He made his first appearance at the S-Class Hero Association meeting, perpetrated in the headquarter of the Association in A-City, moments before the The Dark Matter Thieves attacked. After the spaceship was downed, he warns Genos to beware of Metal Knight, declaring that Bofoy is his enemy.
Pig God (豚神 Buta Gami) - Rank 10
    Voiced by: Daisuke Namikawa
An extremely obese hero with superhuman strength and an incredible resistance to injuries, who is always eating and defeats his enemies by swallowing them, since he can open his mouth enormously. He's dressed with a dark sweater and light pants. Pig God is first shown at the S-Class Hero Association meeting, perpetrated in the headquarter of the Association in A-City, moments before the The Dark Matter Thieves attacked. During the attack to the Monster Association he was one of the selected hero sent to attack the enemy headquarter; he met and instantly killed Glutton swallowing him whole, but moments later he encountered and was heavily injured by Gums. Moments later, the entire headquarter was flipped and smashed by Tatsumaki and Pig God was overhung by the rubble, being able to escape from the ruins by himself after some time, also saving the three disciples of Atomic Samurai, bringing them to the surface with him. He started then facing Evil Natural Water, charging the powerful creature together with Child Emperor and Atomic Samurai in order to induce the monster shooting a lot of its liquid and consume itself thereby making it easy to overcome, but unfortunately the monster didn't consume at all and was about to defeat them, until Tatsumaki recovered a little from the beating and dispelled Evil Natural Water with her psychic powers. Later on, he fought together with Sweet Mask and all the S-Class heroes to the scene against Garou, who defeated him with small effort, after mocking his fat body. After Garou's defeat, he escaped hospital to deal with the still-living Evil Natural Water, searching it into the headquarter's ruins; when he finally found it, he swallowed the monster entire and killed it once and for all. He made a strange speech about his real capabilities, so it is possible that Pig God has yet to show off his real power.
Superalloy Darkshine (超合金クロビカリ Chōgōkin Kuro-bikari) - Rank 11
    Voiced by: Satoshi Hino
A bodybuilder whose muscles are stronger than steel and who lost all his hair from training, like Saitama. He always goes around almost naked, only with his pants on, to show the others his statuesque body, whom he's very proud about. He was originally a weak child who could not even lift small weights, building up to superhuman levels over time. Despite his immense physical capacity (one of the highest in the Heroes Association) and apparent bravado, Alloy struggles to overcome his self-doubt. This was showcased when he mentally crumbled after being defeated by Garou. As seen during Monster Association's attack on Saitama's home place, he and Pri-Pri-Prisoner are usually good friends and they stimulate each other to train their muscles. Superalloy Darkshine is first shown at the S-Class Hero Association meeting, perpetrated in the headquarter of the Association in A-City, moments before the The Dark Matter Thieves attacked. After the destruction of A-City caused by the aliens, he and other S-Class heroes reached to roof of the Association headquarter to find a way to attack the alien spaceship, but they did come out with nothing, since the ufo was too far in the sky; when Superalloy Darkshine asked the strongest man's opinion, King replied that he has no possibility to attack the ufo, too far away from him, and caused the anger of Tatsumaki, which found that attitude overly uncaring. During the attack to the Monster Association, he was one of the selected hero sent to attack the enemy headquarter; he met and effortlessly killed The Bug God and moments later he encountered Pri-Pri-Prisoner hugely wasted after his fight with Garou. After his friend told to him what Garou is able, Superalloy Darkshine still thought it would be an easy match for him and for that reason he searched and found Garou, challenging him to finally stop his rush. After an initial win thanks to his immense force, Superalloy Darkshine was sure that victory was his, but thanks to Garou's capacity to learn about his enemy and become stronger after every battle, Garou started to counterattack and hit after hit, Superalloy Darkshine was eventually knocked out by Garou. That shocked deeply Superalloy Darkshine, which thought to quit the hero job, thinking to be unworthy. After the entire headquarter was flipped and smashed by Tatsumaki, he was overhung by the rubble and was found by his friend Pri-Pri-Prisoner during his digging. After a long discussion, his friend succeeded to snap Darkshine back to his senses and he returned to the battle field. Later on, he fought together with Sweet Mask and all the S-Class heroes to the scene against Garou and temporarily cause him some trouble with his incredible force, but was anyway defeated by Garou in few time. Even after he stood up again many times, Garou knocked him out each of them, mocking his "pathetic determination not supported by real strength". It is possible that his design is inspired by Bobby Ologun. His name in the anime was changed in Superalloy Blackluster.
    Watchdog-man (番犬マン Banken-man) - Rank 12
    Voiced by: Yūji Ueda
A highly efficient and stoic hero responsible for dealing with mysterious beings activities in Q-City, who is always seen wearing a dog costume. He has shown to be incredibly strong and hugely expert to dealing with monsters, despite his size and look. He was present at the S-Class Hero Association meeting, perpetrated in the headquarter of the Association in A-City, moments before the The Dark Matter Thieves attacked.
Flashy Flash (閃光のフラッシュ Senkō no Furasshu) - Rank 13
    Voiced by: Kōsuke Toriumi
A hero with feminine features who is tremendously fast (though Saitama is still much faster than him), probably the fastest in the S-Class since he's known to be one of the strongest fighters of the Association. Being a swordsman, in combat he uses his beloved sword named "Instakill", but is capable of fighting hand-to-hand as well. He wears a black suit, with a big white cape over it. He was present at the S-Class Hero Association meeting, perpetrated in the headquarter of the Association in A-City, moments before the The Dark Matter Thieves attacked. During Tatsumaki's Day Off side story, Flashy Flash is seen killing with ease a level "Demon" monster. During the attack to the Monster Association he was one of the selected hero sent to attack the enemy headquarter; he instantly killed a couple of monsters, The Hot Rod Brothers, with his sword and moments later he randomly encountered Saitama, attacking him because he thought it was an enemy. After Saitama dodged his attack and revealed himself, Flashy Flash attacked him a second time, even after he knew it was an alley hero, because he found impossible that some random B-Class hero could dodge his attacks; after Saitama eluded his second shot, Lightspeed Flash started asking who he is in realty. When the entire headquarter was flipped and smashed by Tatsumaki, Flashy Flash asked Saitama to help him free his right arm, who was stuck under the debris; after long time they succeeded to free his arm, which turns out it wasn't in real danger but was holding his beloved sword which the hero didn't wanted to ruin; when he discovered that, Saitama had an attack of hysteria during which he inadvertently destroyed Flashy Flash' sword. Before the S-Class hero could unleash his anger against Saitama, Pri-Pri-Prisoner dug into the scene and helped them escape from the ruins. Later on, he fought together with Sweet Mask and all the S-Class heroes to the scene against Garou and temporarily gave him some trouble with his incredible speed, but was anyway defeated by Garou in few time. Even after he stood up again many times, Garou knocked him out each of them.
Tanktop Master (タンクトップマスター Tankutoppu Masutā) - Rank 15
    Voiced by: Katsuyuki Konishi[2]
A highly athletic man professionist of the renowned tanktop style of fighting with superhuman strength and the leader of a group of tanktop fighting style practitioners. Unlike his brothers, minor heroes who bear a grudge against Saitama, Tanktop Master is more level-headed and wise. He is very caring man for his brothers-disciples and other colleague heroes, like License-less Rider. He has a strong sense of justice, shown when Garou went too far injured against him and he decided to spare his life, under License-less Rider's advice, but is also a really proud individual, always trying to reach new power and surpass others with his tanktop philosophy. Tanktop Master is first shown at the S-Class Hero Association meeting, perpetrated in the headquarter of the Association in A-City, moments before the The Dark Matter Thieves attacked. After the destruction of A-City caused by the aliens, he tried to take down the spaceship, throwing at it great pebbles, but instantly backed out when he realized that he was highly outmatched by Tatsumaki, which tossed at it huge debris with her psychic ability. During the reconstruction of A-City as the new Hero Association headquarter, Tanktop Master tried to stop a gigantic robot first thought to be a threat, only to discover that was one of Metal Knight's machine assigned to clear the zone and rebuild the headquarter-city. After observing the potential of Metal Knight arsenal, Tanktop Master felt very disconsolate, since he suffered defeat twice in a row (Tatsumaki psychic powers and Metal Knight's machines potential) and decided to train as hard as he can in order to keep up. During Garou's "hero hunt", all the Tanktop Fighters led by Tanktop Master went to Garou's place to avenge the incursion perpetrated by Garou to Tanktop Vegetarian. Tanktop Mater started then a harsh battle with Garou and, after an initial victory, Garou understood Tanktop Master's style of combat and weakness and defeated him. He then massacred all the Tanktop Fighters with ease, together with Licese-less Rider (which was randomly present) and also Charanko, which rushed to the scene with the purpose of stopping Garou. In the hospital, Tanktop Master was put in the same room as Licese-less Rider and, when Saitama came to visit his friend, Tanktop Master said to him that it was Garou's fluid technique that made him so well-suited to fight heroes, who were otherwise more used to monsters leveraging their brute force to bring about destruction. His tanktop is silver colored, in the manga, and blue colored, in the anime.
Metal Bat (金属バット Kinzoku Batto) - Rank 16
    Voiced by: Wataru Hatano
A hero that embodies the stereotype of a classic Japanese banchō delinquent, he also speaks in dialect most of the time, proved to possess superhuman physical capabilities. He wields a metal bat, hence his namesake, using it to practice a street fight style of combat, with which is rather skilled. He's shown to have a fighting spirit so huge as to keep him battling even after he took several injuries and also making him fight even with more vigor and strength. He's a very hot-tempered guy and always has a brazen attitude, but loses his antagonizing manners when speaking to his little sister, whom he cares deeply about. Metal Bat is first seen at the S-Class Hero Association meeting, perpetrated in the headquarter of the Association in A-City, moments before the The Dark Matter Thieves attacked. After the destruction of A-City caused by the aliens, he joined Atomic Samurai to the fight against Melzalgald, together with Silver Fang and Pri-Pri-Prisoner. After Metal Bat destroyed one of the alien's heads numerous time, he discovered his weak spot and the group finally succeeded into killing the alien thanks to that. After Sweet Mask instantaneously killed the captured underlings aliens, Metal Bat became mad at him, finding his attitude way too cocky, and challenged him publicly to a fight, but they were interrupted; later on, they tried to start the fight again, but were both interrupted even this time (Metal Bat by his sister's call and Sweet Mask by his manager's call). During Garou's "hero hunt" he was delegated by the Heroes Association to watch over some sponsor of the Association and his son; he received a call from his little sister which asked him for help to carry her shopping bags, but Metal Bat declined because he was busy with the hero job. He then accompanied the two important civilians to a sushi restaurant to taste some "common food", but during their meal two monsters appeared: Human Bird Grass and Junior Centipede, that crushed the restaurant for the purpose of take the sponsor and his son away. However, Metal Bat intervened and quickly killed the two monsters. When he thought the situation was clear, two other monsters appeared, bigger and stronger then the two before: the disaster level "Demon", Senior Centipede and Rafflesidon; Metal Bat started then a harsh battle with them both. After the hero initially succumbed to their combined strength, he became really angry and, showing off his true fighting spirit, he used his full-power swing to kill them both with a single shot. After the battle, the heroes Pineapple and Mohican arrived and Metal Bat asked them to take the two important civilians (fallen asleep from the monsters' attack) in a safe place; in that moment the disaster level "Dragon" monster, Eldar Centipede, emerged from the ground and Metal Bat prepared to face him with all he's got. Unfortunately, the monster reveals too much strong for Metal Bat alone and during their battle, the hero was tossed far away from the scene. He landed precisely where Garou was walking, since he went in that zone to catch up Metal Bat. After Garou recognized him, he tounted the hero to a fight, which Metal Bat decided to start, but being already exhausted from the many battles, he was no match for Garou: even after Metal Bat showed his incredible fighting spirit and an unbeliveble stamina, Garou was able to win the match with not much effort, even though he ammitted that a totally recovered Metal Bat would have been a way harder opponent. However, even after his defeat, Metal Bat unexpectedly stood up again and was about to hit Garou to the back, since he let the guard down, but was interrupted by his little sister, Zenko, which finally found him; she jumped then between them two, informing the human monster about Metal Bat's promise to never use violence in front of Zenko, declaring so the end of the brawl. Garou, which didn't wanted to hit the little girl, decided o retreat, respecting her persistence for anti-violence. After that, Metal Bat tried to come back to his fight against Elder Centiped, but Zenko said he was too injured to continue fighting and, while she was trying to make him desist, she smacked him on the back of his head, which unintentionally knocks him unconscious, since he was already at his limit. Metal Bat was the only hero that came to H-City in order to stop the Needlepoint Mouse monster (he even skipped his beloved cat's birth to arrive in time), but "unfortunately" the monster was in Tatsumaki's way during her fight against Saitama and she instantaneously killed it, causing Metal Bat's anger since he came for nothing.
    Pri-Pri-Prisoner (ぷりぷりプリズナー Puripuri Purizunā) - Rank 17
    Voiced by: Masaya Onosaka
A homosexual hero with great tonnage and superhuman physical strength, who constantly places himself in prison because "he can't resist molesting cute boys", so he's always dressed with a prison uniform. He maintains a list of boys he has an interest in, sometimes without their knowledge. Pri-Pri-Prisoner has the ability to drastically increase his muscle mass to fight at full strength, which he often refers to as his "Angel Form". In the process of reaching this "form", he often tears his clothes apart, leaving him completely nude. As seen during Monster Association's attack on Saitama's home place, he and Superalloy Darkshine are usually good friends and they stimulate each other to train their muscles. We are first introduced to Pri-Pri-Prisoner when Speed-o'-Sound Sonic has been put in a maximum security wing for highly dangerous criminals, that is the same of Pri-Pri-Prisoner. After the hero found out the emergency due to the Sea King, he escaped from prison making a huge hole in the wall, which Sonic too used to escape, to stop the monster from his beating of cute heroes, like Stinger and Lightning Max; he then arrived the scene and saved Lighting Max's life, starting a fight with the Sea King. After he proceeded to power up to half strength in order to test the capability of the monster and after an exchange of blows with him, he realized that the Sea King is stronger then he thought and so he's forced to use his "Angel Form" to oppose him; however, neither his maximum power is enough for keeping up with the Sea King and after even Pri-Pri-Prisoner's strongest attack, the "Angel Rush", has got no effect, the monster mercilessly finished him off with a powerful series of blows. In the anime, he makes a short appearance after the defeat of the Sea King, visiting both Stinger and Lightning Max in the hospital after breaking out of jail again and trying to give them shots, but they quickly run off in fear. Before he could chase them, a newspaper falls next to his feet and Pri-Pri-Prisoner finds out that the first page is showing him with the title "S-Class failure", which left him deeply depressed. Days later, Pri-Pri-Prisoner is seen at the S-Class Hero Association meeting, perpetrated in the headquarter of the Association in A-City, moments before the The Dark Matter Thieves attacked. After the destruction of A-City caused by the aliens, he joined Atomic Samurai to the fight against Melzalgald, together with Metal Bat and Silver Fang, attacking Melzalgald with his new technique "Dark Angel Rush", a powerful version of the "Angel Rush"; after a hard battle, they finally succeeded into killing the alien when Metal Bat found out his weak spot. During the attack to the Monster Association he was one of the selected hero sent to attack the enemy headquarter; he was spotted by Garou nearly immediately, which defeated him in no time. Later on, he was found by his friend Superalloy Darkshine and he advised him about Garou's strength. After he recovered from the beating and after the entire headquarter was flipped and smashed by Tatsumaki, he was overhung by the rubble and started digging through the pebbles, finding and bringing to the surface Emperor Child and Atomic Samurai, which were trapped by the debris; he helped in the same way Flashy Flash and Saitama to escape from the ruins. He then continued with his digging until he found Superalloy Darkshine utterly traumatized from his defeat against Garou and helped him to cheer up, making him recover his self esteem. Later on, Pri-Pri-Prisoner fought together with Sweet Mask and all the S-Class heroes to the scene against Garou, who defeated him again with a single blow, even after he tried his best shot against him. His "Angel Style" transformation, especially in the anime, is very reminiscent of Sailor Moon's transformation and was probably done so as a parody.

    A-Class Heroes

Handsomely Masked Sweet Mask (イケメン仮面アマイマスク Ikemen Kamen Amai Masuku) - Rank 1
    Voiced by: Mamoru Miyano[3]
He is a beautiful model and celebrity, always dressed with designer clothes, with immense combat abilities, being one of the strongest characters of the series and surpassing even some S-Class heroes. His body seems to be semi-indestructible, capable of healing quickly from potentially lethal wounds; the majority of his powers remain a mystery. Even though it's said by other heroes he should rank up, he refuses as he feels it is his duty to remain in the number one spot of A-Class to prevent the unworthy from becoming S-Class heroes, except for those whom he sees worthy like Genos, fitting Sweet Mask's philosophy about "heroes needs to be beautiful too". In fact, it is known that he's the most influential hero about all Association's main decisions and possesses the greatest fan club of all. In the anime, he was contacted by the Association after Genos' rapid promotion to S-Class and Sweet Mask approved it, meeting the cyborg that night and offering him his congratulations. His sense of "justice" is merely twisted, such as mercilessly killing enemies whom he views as "evil". He was first introduced during the invasion of J-City by the seafolk, during which he made a guest appearance on a television show to promote his new song. When he was asked what he thinks about the current situation, Sweet Mask replied that he is only a hero when he fights evil and that currently he is there just to present his new song as a singer, he started then a rhetorical monologue on what does it mean to be a hero. When Saitama was promoted to B-Class, he was informed of the fact and superficially agreed with his promotion, affirming that he bother only for promotion to A-Class or above, even though he started to become suspicious about the mysterious figure of Saitama. During the Demonic Fan sidestory, Sweet Mask makes a brief appearance on a news report encouraging others to become heroes. During a mission, he encounters Suppon, a caveman prisoner who escaped for his laboratory and had begun to brutally assault civilians. Sweet Mask deemed Suppon as "evil" and informed him that he was under orders to bring him back alive but goes against these orders, brutally killing the creature in a moment. After the S-Class heroes down the alien spaceship of the Dark Matter Thieves, he came to the scene and slaughters a group of captured subdued aliens without hesitation. To make matters worse, the S-Class heroes didn't find any answers from those aliens for the invasion; because of that, Metal Bat became mad at Sweet Mask, finding his attitude way too cocky, and challenged him publicly to a fight, but they were interrupted; later on, they tried to start the fight again, but were both interrupted even this time (Metal Bat by his sister's call and Sweet Mask by his manager's call). During the attack to the Monster Association he was one of the selected hero sent to attack the enemy headquarter; he met and instantaneously killed Goddess Glasses, being quite pissed off by her, but couldn't fight back when he encountered and was attacked by Fuhrer Ugly, since he is paralyzed when fighting against ugly enemies. Moments later, the entire headquarter was flipped and smashed by Tatsumaki and Sweet Mask emerged from the ruins by himself, after some time, and started facing Evil Natural Water and Black Sperm by himself, but was put in difficulty by the monsters' combined force. Later on, he fought together with all the S-Class heroes to the scene against Garou, who overthrew him many times and stated that Sweet Mask's "justice" is nothing more than a narcissistic desire to fill anything with his own version of beauty. When the human monster was defeated by Saitama, Sweet Mask overly tried to execute Garou, supported by Zombieman and Child Emperor, but since Saitama didn't agree with that and thanks to the intervention of Busaiku which defended Garou, the human monster was able to escape. Sweet Mask is shown again some days later and, after the defeat of Garou, he seems to have a growing obsession in regards to Saitama.

He then faced the alien Melzalgald and tried to cut him apart, but was easily defeated by him, way too much strong for the young hero, and lost his left arm. After that, he was rescued by his master Atomic Samurai and other S-Class heroes, which came at the scene and fought Melzalgald, finally killing him after a harsh battle when they found out his weak spot. After the entire headquarter was flipped and smashed by Tatsumaki, he was overhung by the rubble and was rescued by Pig God, which brought him to the surface; once there, he lended his sword to his master, Atomic Samurai, to let him fight Garou. His name is a play on words of the term "iai", a sword technique commonly associated with samurai, and "aian" namely iron. It is stated by Fubuki that he could be S-Class if it wasn't for Sweet Mask.
Slicing Sheman (オカマイタチ Okamaitachi) - Rank 3
The second of the three disciples of the S-Class hero Atomic Samurai, a strong swordsman using a katana and clad as a woman, since he's a known cross-dresser, usually falling in love of his enemies; he knows a particular technique which gives him the ability to create huge blades of wind by slashing the air. When they were about to recover from the fight, they encountered Evil Natural Water that quickly took them down. When they were about to recover from the fight, they encountered Evil Natural Water that quickly took them down. His name is a play on words of the terms "bushido" and "drill". It is stated by Fubuki that he could be S-Class if it wasn't for Sweet Mask.
Heavy Tank Fundoshi (重戦車フンドシ Jūsensha Fundoshi) - Rank 5

He was called with other two A-Class heroes to protect Shicchi in a meeting with various criminals, during which Shicchi tried to ask help to them in oder to stop the "God" disaster level threat that was about to happen. In that occasion, Heavy Tank Fundoshi knocked unconscious a criminal with a single hit for acting too cocky in his regards. Unfortunately, Garou was present at that meeting and decided to kill every single one in there, so Fundoshi tried to defeat the human monster with a powerful blow, but despite the hero's high fighting capability, Garou defeated him with ease, breaking his arm in multiple spots and knocking him out. He wears nothing more than a loin cloth similar to those of sumo wrestlers.

He was called with other two A-Class heroes to protect Shicchi in a meeting with various criminals, during which Shicchi tried to ask help to them in order to stop the "God" disaster level threat that was about to happen. Since Blue Fire is very serious and strict, especially towards criminals, he became mad when he discovered the Association was trying to search help from outlaws. Unfortunately, Garou was present at that meeting and decided to kill every single one in there, so Blue Fire tried to incinerate the human monster but despite the hero's high fighting capability, Garou defeated him with ease, ripping his left arm off. He tried to handle the situation when the fight between Tatsumaki and Fubuki became so harsh that caused earthquakes to the Hero Association new headquarter, but he came at the scene when Saitama had already brought Tatsumaki away. His appearance seems to be some sort of a "mess up version" of the character Ogami Rei from the series Code Breaker: they share the same rank, they are both specialized in burning the enemy and have a similar outfit, face and hair; plus, Ogami Rei's fire attacks burn with a blue flame, which reminds to Blue Fire's hero name.

Stinger (スティンガー Sutingā) - Rank 10
    Voiced by: Tomokazu Seki

He's dressed with a tight black suit, over which wears a loose white vest. During the Sea King arc, he single-handedly took down a majority of the Sea King's soldiers. However, he exhausted himself tremendously doing so and ends up beaten unconscious by the Sea King himself. In the anime, he makes a short appearance after the defeat of the Sea King, being in the hospital along with Lightning Max, frustrated from reading about the heroes' defeat on a newspaper, and moments later shocked to see Pri-Pri-Prisoner comes by to see them both and run off afterwards when Pri-Pri-Prisoner was going to give them shots. In a side story he was called to Child Emperor's lab, together with other heroes, to fulfill one of his experiments; they were all called moments later to stop a monster's activity. Stinger tried then to stop the Jumping Spider monster together with the other heroes, but was easily blown away by the creature because of a misunderstanding of the monster's real capability. However, he arrives at the scene when Saitama has already killed the monster. He's one of Saitama's neighbors in his new habitation in the new Heroes Association headquarter, and came to his house together with Forte and Chain'n'Frog with almost hostile intent since Saitama didn't come to great him as a senior, but he ended up feeling no grudge against Saitama. Lightning Genji (電光ゲンジ Denkō Genji) - Rank 17
His appearance strongly resembles the boss character Spark Man from the old Mega Man video game franchise, usually fighting with two combat sticks that are charged with electricity. During the Surprise-Attack Plum side story, he was one of the many heroes which tried to attack the monster that was devastating a police station in order to get a lot of credits, since it was an important emergency. However, he arrives at the scene when Saitama has already killed the monster. In the anime, he appears at Hero Association headquarter in A-City during the invasion of the Dark Metter Thieves, in order to help out with the rescuing operation together with Stinger and License-less Rider. He decided to participate, for the first time, to the Super Fight tournament, wearing a kung-fu suit; he fought in the first match against Lin Lin and won after few time, with little troubles though. He became a lot irritated when, during a speech, Metal Knight looked down on A-Class heroes publicly, saying that his robotic security system is more efficient than all the A-Class heroes put together. However, the monster was too strong and, after reflecting one of Golden Ball's projectiles effortlessly, he reached him with one of his seaweed tentacles and defeated him in an instant. Kombu Infinity was eventually defeated by Saitama, that walked in its way casually. During the Surprise-Attack Plum side story, he was one of the many heroes which tried to attack the monster that was devastating a police station in order to get a lot of credits, since it was an important emergency. However, he arrives at the scene when Saitama has already killed the monster. During Garou's "hero hunt", Golden Ball was found by the human monster in a pub and challenged by him. Golden Ball pretended to be drunk so he could take Garou by surprise, but even with that vantage he could only damage a little Garou's leg, since the monster utterly understood how Golden Ball's weapon works in no time, instantly becoming able to dodge all his attacks and overcoming the hero. Golden Ball's name, when translated literally from English to Japanese, would be "kintama", which is a euphemism for testicles; Golden Ball wears a jacket with his hero name written on, discouraging that particular translation.

During the Surprise-Attack Plum side story, he was one of the many heroes which tried to attack the monster that was devastating a police station in order to get a lot of credits, since it was an important emergency. He's very proud, thinking that heroes under his rank are inferior and claiming that young people think he looks "cool" and "badass". During the Surprise-Attack Plum side story, he was one of the many heroes which tried to attack the monster that was devastating a police station in order to get a lot of credits, since it was an important emergency. However, he arrives at the scene when Saitama has already killed the monster. He's one of Saitama's neighbors in his new habitation in the new Heroes Association headquarter, and came to his house together with Butterfly DX and Chain'n'Frog with hostile intent since Saitama didn't come to great him as a senior. He challenged Saitama, finding his behavior irreverent, but at the beginning of the battle he was accidentally hit by Fubuki Group's car and sent to the hospital. During the Surprise-Attack Plum side story, he was one of the many heroes which tried to attack the monster that was devastating a police station in order to get a lot of credits, since it was an important emergency. However, he arrives at the scene when Saitama has already killed the monster. Doll Master (ドールマスター Dōru Masutā) - Rank 33
A very strange puppetmaster camouflaged as a puppet himself and wielding a great marionette, probably the main weapon of an unrevealed style of combat. During the Surprise-Attack Plum side story, he was one of the many heroes which tried to attack the monster that was devastating a police station in order to get a lot of credits, since it was an important emergency. However, he arrives at the scene when Saitama has already killed the monster.

He was operating in N-City, against a criminal gang known as "The Iron Fist", headed by the A-Class criminal Big Iron. He was in trouble since the bandits were holding a woman as an hostage; after he found out there was no hostage and was about to show them his true capabilities, Saitama and Tatsumaki went through the wall because of their fight, knocking Feather unconscious. They two took down the entire gang with no time and then returned to their battle, while Feather awakes with some doubts about what happened.
    Air (エアー ) - Rank 35
A skinny black man resembling an Australian aboriginal tribesman; he fights using a big boomerang. He was delegated to take Pig God after his escape from the hospital and bring him back. He overestimated himself, thinking that he could handle the S-Class hero just because he was plenty wounded and tried to face him, but was instantaneously almost killed by a little Evil Natural Water, which survived the battle of the Monster Association and came out of the rumbles of the monsters' headquarter. Pig God took his chance and killed the monster in no time (it was the reason he escaped from hospital), then called an ambulance for Air. In the hospital, he was put in the same room of Forte.
    Chain'n'Frog (鎖ガマ Kusarigama) - Rank 36
A skilled martial artist who wears a judo suit, with a frog mask on the head because he was unremarkable otherwise. The mask has made him more popular with kids. Biting Snake Fist Sneck (蛇咬拳のスネック Jakōken no Sunekku) - Rank 37
    Voiced by: Shin-ichiro Miki
He was the lowest ranking A-Class hero, the 38th, after he was promoted to rank 37. He wears a smoking jacket whose texture resembles the python's skin, using a hand-to-hand fighting style similar to the snake-style. He was sent alone to investigate mysterious beings activity in F-City, reporting that Hammerhead was spotted there in suspect attitudes (he was only searching for job though). He works directly in the Heroes Association 6th Official Examination Center and delivers seminars to heroes who have recently passed the official entrance exam. In fact, it was him that made the seminar welcome to Genos and Saitama; he found their behavior intolerable, since he was totally ignored by them two. He attempts newbie-crushing on heroes that he feels are a threat to his rank, as he tried to do later that evening with Saitama, since he found out his true potential. However, Saitama beat him unconscious almost without noticing it. Despite his sneaky nature, he takes his job quite seriously since he decided to face the Sea King in a shelter, in order to protect the civilians in there, even if he was alone with minor heroes; he was quickly defeated, but he bought enough time to let Genos enter the scene and, with his intervention, he saved many lives. He decided to participate, for the sixth time, to the Super Fight tournament, during which he wore a typical oriental martial arts suit; it is said that he was always able to reach the top 4 positions in the previous editios, though he never won. In the original webcomic, his name was Acrobatic White Suit (アクロバティック白スーツ Akurobatikku Shiro Sūtsu): he wore a white suit instead of a snake-patterned one and he and his fighting style had nothing to do with snakes. It is stated that he doesn't like much the S-Class heroes.

    B-Class Heroes

Blizzard of Hell (地獄のフブキ Jigoku no Fubuki) - Rank 1
    Voiced by: Saori Hayami[3]
A powerful esper, she is notorious for searching out recruits to work under her within the B-Class. While appearing confident and calm on the surface, she is in fact incredibly insecure and frustrated at living in the shadow of her older sister Tatsumaki, or S-Class Rank 2 "Tornado of Terror", who is a far more powerful and talented esper than she is. As such, when she attained her rank in the B-Class, she refused to move up as she believed she could never attain to reach highest A-Class ranks by herself and instead decided to recruit others in B-Class, believing that their collective strength would one day outmatch her sister's singular strength. Saitama familiarly calls her Fubuki. After witnessing his monstrous strength, she has struck up an odd friendship with Saitama, calling him the Blizzard Group's A-Class special member and even visited him when he was having a hot pot dinner with his other close associates. As a child, she was close to her sister until she was taken away for her powers to be tested; at school, often bullied by her classmates due to her powers. After Tatsumaki returned, this often earned them her wrath, who told Blizzard to defend herself and began to isolate her from anyone that wasn't worth their time. Because of her constant interference, she couldn't befriend anybody when she was a child and grew to resent her sister. During her high school days, she had a friend named Psykos, who eventually turned against heroes to become leader of the Monster Association. Despite her cold nature, she cares for her subordinates and is genuinely concerned about Psykos. She wears an elegant and black long dress, with a luxurious white coat on her shoulders. During the Demonic Fan side story she faced the monster together with her underlings, but are easily beaten by it (the Demonic Fan was eventually first dismantled by Tatsumaki and then totally destroyed by Saitama). When the Fubuki Group was in need of a new car, it was thanks to Fubuki's intervention, which got the bounty of some C-Class and B-Class criminals, that the group finally got the cash necessary to buy it. In the anime, she makes a short appearance during the rumored monster in Z-City arc, saying that for that time she will pass the duty. After Saitama rose up in ranking in B-Class, Fubuki, together with Eyelashes and Mountain Ape, went to Saitama's place when he entered the B-Class to convince him into joining their group. After he refused categorically, Fubuki ordered to her minions to beat Saitama that hard he could never do the hero work again; after they were both beaten instantaneously by him, Fubuki started a fight against Saitama, which withstood all of her attacks and even patronizes her about being a hero. When Fubuki was still surprised by his opponent's capability, they were interrupted by the fight between Genos and Sonic, way harsher than theirs. After Saitama got easily rid of Sonic, Fubuki understood part of his true power and decided to stop fighting him. She followed Saitama into his apartment and talked with him about some of the strongest members of the Heroes Association, finding out that King is Saitama's friend after he came to his place and that the S-Class rank 14 Genos call himself the main disciple of Saitama. During the Jumping Spider side story, she tried again to convince Saitama to join her group, and challenged him and his companions (Genos, King and Bang) into a special contest: the losers have to do whatever the winners want. Knowing the strength of his opponents, Fubuki smartly made it a video game contest, in which Saitama and the others are plenty scarse, while she brought 30 members of her group, included some skilled player. Unfortunately for Fubuki, after her first underling defeated Genos, Bang and Saitama with ease, King beaten all the 30 opponents in a row, making her lose. Moments later, she contributed together with Bang, Genos and Saitama to the defeat of the Jumping Spider monster and, after admitting that she lost again with Saitama, she claimed that she still didn't give up. During Garou's "hero hunt", she was invited to Saitama's place for dinner with the other friends of him and they made up their mind about the current situation. During the attack to the Monster Association, she came later at the scene with Genos, Bang and Bomb, finding Overgrown Rover guarding the entrance and starting a fight against it. The monster revealed tough to the point that neither the combined attacks of the group injured it and Bang rhetorically asked why Rover couldn't simply shit down and stay calm; Rover understood that as a command and obediently sit, stopping the fight. The group then remained trapped under the ruins of the heardquarter when Tatsumaki flipped and smashed it. In a first moment, Fubuki didn't reach the surface because he felt with her psychic capability the presence of Tastumaki's power (she didn't want to get in her way), but after her sister was a lot weakened, Fubuki decided to emerge and, after she found out the Monster Association leader was her former friend and assistant Psykos, she decided to take care of her. After she discovered Psykos was way more powerful then she, Fubuki used a special technique to deflect the psychic waves of her enemy. Psykos, more powerful but less flexible and expert, tried all she'd got against Fubuki and ended up unconscious. Moments after that victory, Fubuki encountered Garou which defeated her in no time and traumatized her with his overwhelming power. Later on, she was found by King and they both witness to the victory of Saitama against Garou; after the fight, Fubuki helped Bang to escape from the ruins with her telekinesis. After the defeat of the Monster Association, she and Saitama came to the Heroes Association new headquarter's prison for monsters in order to interrogate Psykos, which was lock in there, about what she has seen into the future that has made her crazy, but before she could ask the questions, Tatsumaki, which found out that Psycos was still alive and imprisoned there, came in totally furious with the intent to finish the survived monster. Fubuki tried to resist her sister starting a fight with her that hard to cause earthquakes to all the Hero Association new headquarter and smash the jails' walls where various monsters were been kept locked (even though part of the monsters were killed by Fubuki's attacks and the rest were eliminated by Saitama before they could cause troubles). Despite Fubuki put all of herself to stop the sister, it was utterly pointless; in the moment when Tatsumaki was about to make her sister unconscious, Saitama intervened to rescue Fubuki. While Saitama tried to keep Tatsumaki away from endangering Fubuki, the civilians and Psykos, Fubuki had no choice to disband her group for her and their safeties from her sister's madness. She then rejoined her older sister to end their fight. However, Fubuki did not realize that her former group still follows her to help her in the battle, owing her debts whether they are still a group or not, since the groups' bonds will never fade away. In fact, her group joined her when she was about to face again Tatsumaki and, after all the members prepared to fight at their top, the fight was stopped due to the still convalescent status of Tatsumaki, which still didn't recovered from the harsh war with the Monster Association, and the arrive of Saitama, which returned after he was trapped underground by Tatsumaki. Fubuki then, together with her beloved group, prepared to come back to the heasquarter and settle the monsters which escaped during her duel with the sister. She ranked second overall in the latest official character poll, beaten out with a narrow margin by Saitama himself, revealing to be the second most popular character in the series.
Eyelashes (マツゲ Matsuge) - Rank 2
    Voiced by: Yoshiaki Hasegawa
A hero with long eyelashes wearing a black suit, he's the second in command of the Fubuki Group and the principal subaltern of Fubuki. He works in couple with Mountain Ape most of the time. He fights in a peculiar way, using a couple of eyelash curlers as a weapon which can occasionally morph and be turned into two couples of war blades, similarly to Spring Moustache and Golden Ball's weapons, called "Retina Eyeleteer". During the Demonic Fan side story he and other 20 members of the Fubuki Group took down a C-Class criminal, Banero, before facing the Demonic Fan, together with Fubuki and the rest of group, being easily overcome by it (the Demonic Fan was eventually first dismantled by Tatsumaki and then totally destroyed by Saitama). In the anime, he makes a short appearance during the rumored monster in Z-City arc, informing Fubuki that the creature has defeated Spring Mustache and Golden Ball. He, together with Fubuki and Mountain Ape, went to Saitama's place when he entered the B-Class to convince him into joining their group. After he refused categorically, Fubuki ordered to Eyelashes and Mountain Ape to beat Saitama that hard he could never do the hero work again; they both charged Saitama and were both beaten instantaneously. When the Fubuki Group was in need of a new car, Eyelashes started a part time job to earn the amount required like the other members. Thanks to Fubuki's intervention, which got the bounty of some C-Class and B-Class criminals, the group finally got its own car. When the Fubuki Group went to the Heroes Association headquarters prison for monsters in order to let Fubuki interrogate Psykos, Eyelashes and the other members were appointed to guard the entrance, for the purpose of slow down Tatsumaki. After the S-Class hero knocked out most of the members with ease, Eyelashes, Mountain Ape and other two members still standing tried to block Tatsumaki with a special psychic move Fubuki taught them, the "Psychic Bindind". However, Tatsumaki felt nothing and toss them unconscious against the wall. After few times, Eyelashes and the rest of the group recovered strength and reached Fubuki, which told them she intended to disband the group (to keep safe the members from Tatsumaki's fury) and left to finish the fight with her older sister, but Eyelashes and the other members didn't want to quit and followed Fubuki to lend her a hand in her fight. In fact, Eyelashes and the rest of the group joined Fubuki when she was about to face again Tatsumaki and, after all the members prepared to fight at their top, the fight was stopped due to the still convalescent status of Tatsumaki, which still didn't recovered from the harsh war with the Monster Association, and the arrive of Saitama, which returned after he was trapped underground by Tatsumaki. Fubuki then, together with her beloved group, prepared to come back to the heasquarter and settle the monsters which escaped during her duel with the sister.
Mountain Ape (山猿 Yama Zaru) - Rank 3

During the Demonic Fan side story he and other 20 members of the Fubuki Group took down a C-Class criminal, Banero, before facing the Demonic Fan, together with Fubuki and the rest of group, being easily overcome by it (the Demonic Fan was eventually first dismantled by Tatsumaki and then totally destroyed by Saitama). In the anime, he makes a short appearance during the rumored monster in Z-City arc, being together with the rest of the Fubuki Group. He, together with Fubuki and Eyelashes, went to Saitama's place when he entered the B-Class to convince him into joining their group. After he refused categorically, Fubuki ordered to Eyelashes and Mountain Ape to beat Saitama that hard he could never do the hero work again; they both charged Saitama and were both beaten instantaneously. When the Fubuki Group was in need of a new car, Mountain Ape started a part time job to earn the amount required like the other members. Thanks to Fubuki's intervention, which got the bounty of some C-Class and B-Class criminals, the group finally got its own car. When the Fubuki Group went to the Heroes Association headquarters prison for monsters in order to let Fubuki interrogate Psykos, Mountain Ape and the other members were appointed to guard the entrance, for the purpose of slow down Tatsumaki. In fact, Mountain Ape and the rest of the group joined Fubuki when she was about to face again Tatsumaki and when Tatsumaki tried to intimidate the group trowing a big stone to it, Mountain Ape intercepted the rock with his superior strength. After all the members prepared to fight at their top, the fight was stopped due to the still convalescent status of Tatsumaki, which still didn't recovered from the harsh war with the Monster Association, and the arrive of Saitama, which returned after he was trapped underground by Tatsumaki. During the Demonic Fan side story he and other 20 members of the Fubuki Group took down a C-Class criminal, Banero. Glasses didn't participated this much to the fight because he was deep in thought and got no credits. However, the monster came back together and, when a simple C-Class hero like Saitama came and finally destroyed him with a single blow, Glasses understood that the only one that had put limits to him was himself, thinking of not being good enough to do great things. After the meteor incident, Saitama got promoted from one of the lowest ranks to rank 5 in C-Class and Tanktop Tiger, thinking he cheated, called his brother Tanktop Black Hole to settle things up. In an attempt to sabotage his public image, Tanktop Black Hole shouted that Saitama was the responsible for every damage in the city because he destroyed the meteor in a wrong way, turning the mob against Saitama. He then challenged him together with his brother in a public hero fight in order to make justice (he was only trying to get rid of him though), however, the two brothers were easily knocked out by Saitama, who declared that he did what he could to cause less damage as possible. During the Grizzly Nyah side story he and Tanktop Tiger were appointed to keep anyone not allowed out of the dangerous zone where the monster was run about. Mumen Rider (無免ライダー Mumen Raidā) - Rank 1
    Voiced by: Yuichi Nakamura[2]
He is an average person, suited with a cyclist equipment, seen fighting against odds he has no chance surviving. He is famous for travelling with, and figuratively fighting with (as a weapon), his bicycle named "Justice" (ジャスティス号 Jasutisu-gō). He is one of the few who acknowledges Saitama's true power. Despite being fairly useless, his popularity with the public and his devotion has gained him top rank of the C-Class. In fact, he was also at the same school as Saitama when both were beaten up by the sleeveless bullies, during the Piggy Bacon side story. During that period he had already begun to act like a hero, calling himself "Name-less Bicycle Commuter". He at one point attempted to stop the two delinquents who attended the school and took some people's money; it was later insinuated that he was beaten up by them. Even if it's stated that he could rank up to B-Class, he decided to remain the first ranked C-Class hero because he doesn't feel ready for B-Class yet. Mumen Rider makes his first appearance when the Paradise Group was causing havoc in the city streets, trying to oppose the criminal group but being beaten down in an instant. When J-City was attacked by the seafolk, he decided to run into it ignoring the orders from the headquarter to retreat, since the situation was out of his range. When he came to the scene, the Sea King was about to kill a seriously injured Genos and Mumen Rider decided to fight him. Despite being heavily outclassed, Mumen Rider continued the battle until he was almost killed by the Sea King, but he bought enough time to let Saitama arrive and save the situation. Some time later, after Saitama is promoted to B-Class, License-less Rider met him at an oden shop and thanked Saitama for saving his life. In the anime, he appears at Hero Association headquarter in A-City during the invasion of the Dark Matter Thieves, in order to help out with the rescuing operation together with Lightning Max and Stinger. Mumen Rider reappears as one of the targets of Garou's "hero hunt"; before they could start a battle, the Tanktop Fighters led by Tanktop Mater came to avenge Tanktop Vegetarian and Tanktop Master himself challenged Garou. During the fight between Tanktop Master and Garou, after Tanktop Master gained the upper hand and was preparing to finish him off, License-less stopped him, saying that a S-Class hero can't go this far against a simple punk. After Tanktop Master approved, Garou showed his true skills and with a powerful counterattack, he defeated Tanktop Master. After that, Mumen Rider and the Tanktop Fighters tried to fight him, only to be quickly beaten. At the hospital, Mumen Rider was put in the same room as Tanktop Master and was visited by Saitama, and discussed about what Garou is to Saitama. His original name, which literally translates to "Licenceless rider", and his look are a reference of the character Kamen Rider.

After Tanktop Tiger discovered that Saitama was a new hero, he reproached him to don't scary people anymore and don't ruin heroes' reputation and also taunted him into fighting him, expecting that it'll be good for his own image. However, Tanktop Tiger was immediately cut off by several explosive shuriken thrown at him from Sonic, which didn't want anyone to interfere his fight against Saitama. After the meteor incident, Saitama got promoted from one of the lowest ranks to rank 5 in C-Class and Tanktop Tiger (former C-Class rank 6 hero) thought he cheated and called his brother Tanktop Black Hole to settle things up. In an attempt to sabotage his public image, Tanktop Black Hole shouted that Saitama was the responsible for every damage in the city because he destroyed the meteor in a wrong way, turning the mob against Saitama. He then challenged him together with his brother in a public hero fight in order to make justice (they were only trying to get rid of him though), however, the two brothers were easily knocked out by Saitama, who declared that he did what he could to cause less damage as possible. Sometime after the event, he received a demotion to rank 13. During the Grizzly Nyah side story he and Tanktop Black Hole were appointed to keep anyone not allowed out of the dangerous zone where the monster was run about. Bunbun Man (ブンブンマン Bunbun Man) - Rank 331
A man with an afro haircut and wearing a long sleeve shirt that has the kanji for "Fist" written on. He is known to have average combat abilities, but not enough to make him a strong fighter. He takes his job quite seriously, since he decided to face the Sea King in a shelter, in order to protect the civilians in there, even if he was alone with minor heroes; he was quickly defeated, but he bought enough time to let Genos enter the scene and, with his intervention, he saved many lives.
Hyottoko (ひょっとこ Hyottoko) - Rank 347
Hyottoko is one of many C-Classes dressed with a funny costume; his outfit looks like that of the typical Japanese thief and he also wears a mask resembling a strange face with only his eyes uncovered. He was seen most of the time with other C-Class heroes, presumably because he prefers to combine strength against emergencies, rather than fight them alone. During Garou's "hero hunt", Red Nose claimed to Studless and Hyottoko that they could defeat Garou if they attack him together just because he's still simply a human. When Red Nose was about to show off his own martial arts skills to them, Garou himself appeared behind him and mercilessly beaten up all of them.

However, he arrives at the scene when Saitama has already killed the monster.
Red Nose (赤鼻 Aka Hana) - Rank 385
A fat, weak and selfish hero, searching only the attention of medias; he's dressed with an armour with various red noses on it, in reference to his name. He overestimate himself, thinking he could settle big emergencies only because he's a hero. He was first seen when he was talking to a man in order to make him desist from suicide, only to make a good impression with journalists. During Garou's "hero hunt" he claimed to Studless and Hyottoko that they could defeat Garou if they attack him together just because he's still simply a human. When he was about to show off his own martial arts skills to the other two, Garou himself appeared behind him and mercilessly beaten up all of them.
All-Back Man (オールバックマン Ōrubakku Man) - Rank not disclosed

He takes his job quite seriously, since he decided to face the Sea King in a shelter, in order to protect the civilians in there, even if he was alone with minor heroes; he was quickly defeated, but he bought enough time to let Genos enter the scene and, with his intervention, he saved many lives. His name is a reference to his hairstyle, where all his hair is slicked back.
Mohican (モヒカン Mohikan) - Rank not disclosed
A man that resembles a punk version of a mohican warrior, with a black star drawn on his left eye. When they finally escaped from the scene, also thanks to the involuntary help of Metal Knight (which came to the scene only to test his weapons), they when they were about to escape, they were stopped by Phoenix Man, Sludge Jellyfish and Rhino Wrestler. After the other two monsters left Rhino Wrestler alone to handle the situation, Mohikan and Pineapple tried to attack the monster repeatedly, but they did no damage at all to him. Rhino Wrestler then, after evaluating how low their strength was, charged them and knockout them both with a single strike; he then took the son of the sponsor as hostage and left.

    Staff and various members

    Agoni (アゴーニ Agōni)
He's an old man dresses in a formal business suit, characterized by his enormous cleft chin. He lives in A-City and founded the Hero Association three years before current facts. He came up with this idea when his grandson was attacked by a monster and his life was saved by a bypassing stranger (which was Saitama): Agoni was so moved by this he created the Hero Association and the National Superhero Registry, to create and manage superheroes who would protect humanity against monsters and threats.
    Shicchi (シッチ Shicchi)
    Voiced by: Nobuo Tobita
A middle-aged short man dressed with a dark smoking, he's the Minister Officer of Justice for the Hero Association. Shicchi is first seen in the Rumored Monster arc, discussing with other Association members about the investigations being perpetrated by heroes in the various cities, in order to prevent eventual monsters activity. During the S-Class meeting, Shicchi was sent by the Association to inform the S-Classes about the final prophecy of Shibabawa, which predicted a disaster level "God" threat that will cause the destruction of whole humanity in the next six months. He later appeared with an escort of three top A-Class heroes for a meeting with the criminals of the underground to discuss the possibility of an alliance in order to try to avoid the future "God" level threat. However, Garou showep up to cause havoc and severely injured everyone present within except a petrified Shicchi, telling him he would return in three months to destroy the entire Hero Association. He tried then to convince the Hero Association's high places to organize a counter measure against Garou, thinking of him as a possible manifestation of the notorious threat, only to be disregarded and the issue brushed aside after a mere fifteen minutes, since his colleagues reasoned that a mere human could not be what the prophecy was referring to.

Muffintop has the appearance of a small fat man, dressed in elegant clothes. He's an unspecified officer of the Hero Association. Villains and monsters

    Criminals

There are lots of various criminals in the One-Punch Man universe. They are classified, as heroes, with a class ranking (from C to S).
Hammerhead (ハンマーヘッド Hanmāheddo) - Class B criminal
    Voiced by: Wataru Takagi
He is the former leader of the "Paradise Group" (桃源団 Tōgen-dan), in the original webcomic "New Metropolis Group" (新都団 Shinto-dan), a terrorist group proclaiming that the actual society is corrupted and "while rich people grow fat, poor people are obligated to work", so they are trying to create an utopia in which work is voluntary and the unemployed receive full financial support (Hammerhead doesn't truly trust this cause, he simply doesn't want to work), while destroying every symbol of richness. He is a tall, muscular man with a horizontal scar across his nose; he's a decent fighter, since it was stated that he once sent 20 men into the hospital after a street brawl and, as his name suggests, his skull is numerous times bigger and thicker than normal. Like the rest of Paradise Group, he is completely bald and wears a black full-body battle suit (although his leader rank is indicated by some flames that only his suit got) which they have stolen with great effort from some secret agency in order to reach their purpose. The battle suits give the Paradise Group members superhuman strength and resistance. The army tried to take down the huge building of a famous man of means, Zeniru, and was then faced by the ninja Speed-o'-Sound Sonic, hired by Zeniru as a bodyguard. Sonic then killed all the terrorists with ease, the only one exerting real resistance was Hammerhead, who was defeated anyway with small effort. Even so, thanks to his hard cranium, Hammerhead survived and escaped, but only to encounter Saitama few moments later and being defeated again easily, even after he released the full power of his suit against him. After the defeat, his armour was totally shattered and Saitama let him ran away. Later that night, a couple of androids of the secret agency found Hammerhead and punished him for his theft. He survived a seemingly-fatal blow to the head (thanks to his inherently thick skull) and is later spotted by Biting Snake Fist Snek preparing for a job interview, wearing a formal suit. He made a cameo in the anime where he is shown filling up a job application form whilst watching the televised report of an alien ship arriving in A-City.
Big Iron (ビッグアイアン Biggu Aian) - Class A criminal
He is the leader of the "Iron Fist" (アイアンフィスト Aian Fisuto), the biggest criminal gang that was operating in N-City. He's a muscular tall man with great physical strength which uses, as all his underlings, iron gauntlets to fight and he is a known A-Class criminal. They tricked the A-Class hero Feather, making him believe they got an hostage so the hero was forced to face them all alone and was severely beaten (he also had withheld for the hostage's sake). When Feather understood there was no hostage and was ready to fight back Big Iron himself, Tatsumaki and Saitama enter through the wall and beat Feather unconscious. Big Iron then, thinking they came to support the hero, recognized Tatsumaki and incited his men to take her down in order to become famous, attacking Saitama first since he was in his way. However, Saitama effortlessly knocked Big Iron out and Tatsumaki defeated the rest of the gang with ease, then she disappeared with Saitama, continuing their fight.
Speed-o'-Sound Sonic (音速のソニック Onsoku no Sonikku) - Class S criminal
    Voiced by: Yūki Kaji[1]
A ninja with feminine features and nearly unmatched speed who fights with various kind of weapons, he has declared himself Saitama's official rival and vows to defeat him. However, he cannot accept that Saitama's powers can easily surpass his every technique. Sonic has a huge ego and is obsessed with the idea of possessing the strongest fighting technique in the world: he fights strong opponents whenever he get a chance to prove that to himself, calling this his "bad habit". He is introduced as a killer-for-hire who occasionally worked for Zeniru, a famous rich man, and faced the Paradise Group on behalf of Zeniru, which was the target of the army. After he took down the entire terrorist army with small effort, he randomly found Saitama and discovered his immense power, trying to beat him too but being easily overcome by the hero, ending up becoming obsessed by him and trying to outmatch the hero every time they meet. Sonic encounter Saitama again days later, when he was rushing around town searching for bad guys for the purpose of maintaining his C-Class position. After Sonic defeated in an instant Tanktop Tiger, which stood between them, he started to cause huge disasters into the nearby zone in order to catch Saitama attention and force the hero to face him. Saitama then framed him as a possible bad guy and defeated Sonic with a single hit, causing his arrest. He was brought to the same prison where Pri-Pri-Prisoner was locked in and, after the hero escaped to face the Sea King, he followed him through the hole he made in order to escape. When he encountered the Sea King, since Sonic found him strong enough and didn't like his cocky temperament, he challenged him to test his actual technique; since Sonic was too fast and the Sea King too tough, the battle ended with a draw and Sonic ran away for the purpose of find some weapon and come back with them, for the rematch. During his run, he encountered Genos for the first time and said to him that the heroes are a bunch of clowns which could defeat nor protect nothing. He came back to the scene fully equipped to fight again the Sea King, but he arrives only when Saitama has already killed the monster. When the Hero Association organized a meeting with various criminals during which Shicchi tried to ask help to them in order to stop the "God" disaster level threat that was about to happen, Sonic was present as one of the criminals and, after he guessed the reason of the meeting, he declared that he had no interest into join the heroes for their duties and left. His persistence to beat Saitama continues and he went to his place to challenge him once more; however, he ended up meeting Genos for the second time, who introduced himself as Saitama's disciple, and facing him. The impact of their battle caught Fubuki, who was fighting Saitama at his home at that time, but Saitama quickly got between Fubuki and the explosion and, after he saved her, they stopped fighting. After he stopped the fight between the two too, Saitama accepted Sonic's invitation to a fight. Sonic then revealed his newly learned technique, "Four Shadows Burial" (四影葬 Shi-ei-sō), with which he creates four identical afterimages through a special movement technique. However, Saitama took a cue from that move and used his "Serious Series" to create hundreads of afterimages, beating Sonic again. The ninja encountered Saitama again during a special in the K-City Nature Park and challenged him in a fight, trying to blind him with his new smoke shuriken; however, Saitama hit him unintentionally in the groin and defeated him. During the fight between Tatsumaki and Saitama, Sonic made his appearance, trying to take down his historical rival as always using some special high speed tracking explosive shuriken, but Tatsumaki, already annoyed from the situation, sent them back with his powers and Sonic, while trying to dodge them, slipped on some dog's excrement and got wasted by his own weapons. In the anime, he makes a short cameo when the Dark Matter Thieves attacked A-City, hearing the report on the radio during his training. The character also appears in ONE's other series, Makai no Ossan - Old Man of the Underworld, as a flasher who startles people at random in school. This joke is referenced during Genos' first encounter with Sonic. He wears a black suit that reminds the dress typical of ninja and a great purple muffler. He also has two purple signs drawn under the eyes.

Sea King (深海王 Shinkaiō) - Estimated disaster level: more than "Demon"
    Voiced by: Rikiya Koyama[4]

He possesses destructive power, speed and skill in combat, as well as the ability to regenerate wounds, project corrosive spit and unleash a moray tongue, which can grasp or bite his foes. As seafolk, The Deep Sea King grows in strength when hydrated (as shown when he exposed himself to the rain), which causes his size and form to rapidly increase. A self-proclaimed ruler, he refuses to let humans escape him, and ultimately desires to rule the surface. After having one of his fellow seafolk killed by Saitama, who happens to pass by (and the rest by the A-class hero, Stinger), he decides to take on an entire evacuation center filled with frightened civilians and a handful of B-class and A-class heroes, but not before nearly killing Stinger, Lightning Max, and Puri-Puri Prisoner with relative ease, even in his dehydrated form. Once hydrated in the rain, however, The Deep Sea King was even able to catch Speed O' Sound Sonic (who escaped from prison with Puri-puri) by surprise with his increased abilities; the latter escaped him, being unable to defeat the empowered monster without weapons. Having penetrated the evacuation center, and threatening to capture and eat everyone, The Deep Sea King is intercepted by Genos while in dehydrated form, taking all of the latter's attacks with minimal damage (and even resisting an Incinerate attack) and nearly killing Genos with his corrosive spit, coupled with blasting him through the evacuation center's wall. He is later faced by Mumen Rider, who attempts to buy some time and face him head on despite the latter's apparent uselessness against the Deep Sea King's strength. In the end, Mumen Rider falls unconscious due to his fatigue and injuries, though succeeds in stalling, enough for Saitama to arrive and kill the Deep Sea King with one punch (the air pressure of which stops the rain entirely).
Sky King (天空王 Tenkūō) - Estimated disaster level: unknown

His goal was to destroy the Heroes Association and seize the opportunity to take over the world after the defeat of his rivals, the Sea King and the Underground King. However, while he was flying with a bunch of subjects to the Association headquarter in A-City, in order to attempt his conquer purpose, they randomly met Melzalgald and were instantaneously killed by the alien just because he didn't know what they were and they were in his way. Since the other two Kings were a "Demon" level threat, it's presumably that the Sky King could be a disaster level "Demon" too.
Vaccine Man (ワクチンマン Wakuchin Man) - Estimated disaster level: "Dragon"
    Voiced by: Ryusei Nakao
He is a humanoid monster with purple skin and an athletic body. He's very dangerous, since he got incredibly great physical capability, the ability to fly and fire massive energy attacks from his body. He can infect the nearby area with a sort of virus, which paralyzes all the victims that inhale it, and can also transform himself to increase his already high power even more. He was the first enemy faced by Saitama in the series and, only in the anime, he effortlessly defeated Smile Man and Lighting Max, sent to stop him. According to him, he was born due to the massive pollution released across the Earth by human beings and his mission is to eradicate humanity from the world, since it has become "nothing more than a virus". He started bringing huge destruction in Z-City until Saitama stood against him; in the moment when he transformed to blow Saitama away, he was killed with one single punch by the hero. Vaccine Man's normal form bears a strong resemblance to the character Piccolo from the series Dragon Ball and his transformation resembles the appearance of the video game character Diablo, more specifically the version from the game Diablo II.
Needlepoint Mouse (ケンザンネズミ Kenzan Nezumi) - Estimated disaster level: "Dragon"
It's an immense and monstrous porcupine-like creature greatly powerful that was destroying H-City by itself. However, the monster was in Tatsumaki's way during her fight against Saitama and was instantaneously killed by her, with great disappoint for Metal Bat, which came for nothing.
Garou (ガロウ Garō) - Estimated disaster level: more than "Demon" (at the beginning); more than "Dragon" (at his final battle)
Also known as the "human monster", he's the most powerful antagonist in the series thus far, together with Boros (it's stated that them both were about almost equivalent strength by ONE on his Twitter stream). He is the former first disciple of the S-Class rank 3 hero Silver Fang, and so an excellently skilled martial artist; he's also a pure genius of the fight and capable of understand and counter his enemy's technique in no time: every battle that he survives, makes him stronger and tougher. His principal technique is Bang's "Water Stream Rock Smashing Fist", which he hates to use since it reminds to him his former master. He's a human who loves villainy and from childhood rooted for villains rather than heroes, as he claims that villains have hopes and dreams of their own and that just because they're "unpopular" doesn't mean they should be killed by the "popular" heroes. He has promised to become the world's first true "God" disaster level monster and crush the Hero Association along with all martial arts dojos. He was first mentioned by Bang when he explained to Saitama and Genos that his first disciple suddenly rampaged one day and hardly beaten Bang's other disciples so Bang was forced to expel him, after repaying him with a good beating.
Garou made his first official appearance when the Hero Association organized a meeting with various criminals of the underground to discuss the possibility of an alliance in order to try to avoid the future "God" level threat. During the meeting, Garou showed up and decided to start his plan, causing havoc and severely injuring everyone present, leaving after he tells he would now begin a full out "hero hunt", hunting down every hero in his way. After that show up, Bang decided to call his bigger brother Bomb to settle things with Garou, for the purpose of stopping his carnage. In a side story, Garou randomly encountered a group of criminal martial artists, the Harsh Path Stylists, and challenged them to train himself, he was pretty disappointed since he defeated the entire group in no time. Garou started then officially his "hero hunt" and his first victim was the A-Class hero Tanktop Vegetarian, which he defeated with ease. He continued with his search for heroes until he met License-less Rider, but before they could start fighting, the Tanktop Fighters led by Tanktop Mater came to avenge Tanktop Vegetarian and Tanktop Master himself challenged Garou. After that, License-less Rider and the Tanktop Fighters tried to fight him, only to be quickly beaten. Charanko too suddenly joined the fight and tried to stop Garou in order to avenge Bang's dojo honor but he was effortlessly defeat.
During his hunt, Garou encountered Red Nose, Studless and Hyottoko and, since they were 3 C-Class heroes, he mercilessly beaten up all of them. Continuing with his wandering, Garou found a little kid, Busaiku, with a catalogue of the Hero Association's most important heroes and, after a little talk, he found out Golden Ball's area patrol. He then met the hero in a pub and challenged him; Golden Ball pretended to be drunk so he could take Garou by surprise, but even with that vantage he could only damage a little Garou's leg, since the monster utterly understood how Golden Ball's weapon works in no time, instantly becoming able to dodge all his attacks and overcoming the hero. When Garou was about to finish Golden Ball, Spring came to help his friend, after being alarmed for not finding him where they were to meet. Even after he took vantage from Garou's injured leg, Garou defeated him with ease, blocking his rapier with one hand and knocking him out with the other. That same night, Garou also found an officer of the Hero Association, Muffintop, that was walking with two beautiful girls and gave him a good beating; moments later, he also encountered Saitama which was trying to shop and Garou attacked him, thinking that he was a hero on his track. Saitama knocked him unconscious with a single hit and Garou awakes the next day without remembering what happened precisely. It is revealed by Sourface, another former disciple of Bang, that after Garou's rampage to the dojo, the human monster participated to a martial arts tournament, wearing a wolf mask, and defeating all his opponents into the ring.
Days later, Garou found Busaiku for the second time and, during their conversation, the allert to evaquate the city to escape from Eldar Centipede, that was fighting against Metal Bat, came to Garou, which decided to go and meet the S-Class hero to make him his next prey. During his fight, Metal Bat was tossed far away from the scene and landed precisely where Garou was walking. After Garou recognized him, he taunted the hero to a fight, which Metal Bat decided to start, but being already exhausted from the many battles, he was no match for Garou: even after Metal Bat showed his incredible fighting spirit and an unbelievable stamina, Garou was able to win the match with not much effort, even though he emitted that a totally recovered Metal Bat would have been a way harder opponent. After that, Garou intercepted Sludge Jellyfish when he was about to capture Zenko, since he noticed the monster watching his fight against Metal Bat, and gave him a good beating, thinking of him as a possible threat. However, the monster survived thanks to its regenerative capacities; in that moment, Phoneix Man arrived and said to Garou they were no enemies, on the contrary they want to invite the human monster to be a official member of the Monster Association. However, Garou oddly declined the offert, and the two monsters momentarily left, with a little resentment.
Although the Hero Association initially thought that Garou was not a big problem, his ever evolving combat abilities and attacks, even to those who aren't heroes, cause the Association to eventually seek out a plan to stop him. The Association organized then a trap, using every A-Class as a bait to attract Garou into a trap. The plan worked and when Garou attacked the A-Class hero Death Gatling, the Association spotted him and Bang and Bomb set off to intercept him. After Garou easily defeated Death Gatling, which tried to oppose him, Genos arrived at the scene, since he was randomly patroling in that area, and started a hard fight with Garou, which was interrupted by the arrive of Bang and Bomb. They both started facing the human monster and overcame Garou with their superior combined technique, but unfortunately, the Monster Association sent three level "Demon" monsters to help Garou, which attacked Bang, Bomb, and Genos by surprise when they were about to win and, after giving them a good beating, they run away carrying Garou with them. Garou woke up into the Monster Association headquarter and met Psycos, the Monster Association leader, which told him they wanted the human monster to join their association, but to do so, Garou should have prove his monstrous nature, killing 100 human beings. Even after the Association saved him, he never truly deployed on their side; he then left the base without a clear idea in mind and, after long wandering, he met Bosaiku (for the first time, in the webcomic) when he was being bullied by some random kids. He save him and, after that, the three monsters which save him, The Bug God, Royal Ripper and Senior Centipede showed off to ascertain what Garou thought to do; when they discovered that Garou didn't wanted to abandon his humanity and was also defending Busaiku, they attacked him and tried to kill the child. After a hard battle, Senior Centipede was killed and The Bug God and Royal Ripper defeated Garou, but moments before they could finish him they were recalled by Psycos to the base because of the attack to the Monster Association from the Heroes Association. When he recovered, he found out that Busaiku was kidnapped and came back to the Monster Association headquarter to rescue him and with the precise idea of took down the entire association. He then discover when Royal Ripper took the kid and he entered into the room breaking through the wall before the monster could lay a finger on Busaiku; he started then a fight with Royal Ripper and after taking some damage from Royal Ripper's attacks, he beheaded the cruel monster.
When the war between monsters and heroes started into the Association headquarter, Garou continued his rampage to destroy all the monsters and heroes he would encountered, ending to meet Overgrown Rover. Garou started then a harsh battle with the monster and he ended up to smash the ground where they were fighting, precipitating into the headquarter's basement, where he met Psycos itself. They started fighting each other, but after few time, Psycos distracted Garou talking about Busaiku and hit the human monster by surprise with his psychic abilities, hugely increasing the gravity near Garou and knocking him unconscious, leaving then to face the S-Class heroes that were attacking the base. However, Garou recovered from the beating and moments later he encountered Superalloy Darkshine, which challenged the human monster to finally stop his rush. After the entire headquarter was flipped upside down by Tatsumaki, Garou continued with his wandering and realized that he became strong and twisted to the point that he was about to morph into the monster he always wanted to be. He then met Fubuki and after she tried to take him down with all she had got, Garou took no damage and traumatize the esper with his superior powers. When Black Sperm was about to win against all the heroes to the scene, using Busaiku as an hostage, suddenly Garou arrived and, after he instantly killed all of the Black Sperms which were holding the kid (except one little Black Sperm whom slipped away) and started with Golden Sperm a fatal battle which ended with the victory of Garou. The human monster challenged then all the heroes to the scene (Pri-Pri Prisoner, Darkshine, Flashy Flash, Zombieman, Atomic Samurai, Pig God, Tatsumaki, Sweet Mask, Child Emperor) and even with their combined force Garou massacred them all, showing that he became strong enough that neither the most powerful heroes of the Association could handle him. Garou taunted all the heroes, asserting that he was about to kill Busaiku, but the heroes were already wasted to the point that they couldn't even stand up anymore. In that precise moment, Saitama popped out and, after he destroyed Evil Natural Water for the last time with a single blow, he stepped forth to oppose Garou. After a really hard fight, since Garou was overcome by his opponent, he was mysteriously boosted by the same superior entity that created Homeless Emperor, literally and finally becoming a monster and revealing that his real reason for wanting to be a monster was in order to unite humanity against him, thus stopping wars and conflicts between humans. Even after that, he was still unable to overwhelm Saitama and he returned human. Though Garou was all but defeated, he refused to stop fighting until he realized from Saitama that he was no really a monster, nor did he want to be. Bang recovered and arrived, asking if he could settle the situation, since Garou was his former disciple. However, Bang still cared about Garou and wasn't able to execute him, but only to punish him for his "bad conduct"; when Sweet Mask insistently asked to finish Garou with no hesitation Bang didn't know what to do and Garou was in real trouble, but since Saitama didn't agree with that and thanks to the intervention of Busaiku which defended Garou, the human monster was able to escape.
Garou's original name means "hungry wolf", which was seen during his participation in the tournament, where he wore a wolf mask for disguising himself. He is dressed with clothes similar to those of Bang.

    Doctor Genus (ジーナス博士 Jīnasu-hakase)
    Voiced by: Daisuke Namikawa
The head and founder of the House of Evolution (進化の家 Shinka no Ie), he's a brilliant scientist who became mad because he was too intelligent in young age and ended up finding other human beings unworthy and still primitive, so he decided to found the House of Evolution to "bring true humanity and evolution in the world". In order to ensure his constant survival, Doctor Genus had discovered the secret of eternal youth through science and created over 70 clones of himself for emergency purposes. He wears glasses, a blue shirt, a red tie and black pants. After Saitama killed Mosquito Girl, Genus became interested in him and sent a bunch of mutants to capture him, which were all defeated by the hero and Genos. After them both came to his headquarter and erased it with ease, Genus unwillingly unleashed his strongest yet most unstable creation, Asura Rhino, against them and when even him was killed by Saitama, Genus declared that evolution and science can't keep up with humans' true power and realized that he's the one who has to change. Doctor Genus reformed then the organization into a takoyaki diner, using his intellect to make a regenerative octopus meat as a food supply for his customers. When Zombieman arrived at his new base in order to conduct investigations, he found out that it became a simple restaurant and after asking explanations to Genus, the doctor informed him about his past defeat against Saitama and told to the hero his theories about Saitama's true power. In the anime, he makes a short cameo together with Armored Gorilla when the Dark Matter Thieves attacked A-City, watching the report on the tv.

He's capable of digging fast and efficiently: with this ability he could even trap Saitama in the ground for a while. However, Saitama easily escaped and, after chasing him underground, he punched Ground Dragon through the ground into the sky. He has the kanji words "ground dragon" (土竜 Mogura) which can also be read as "mole" written on the chest, that makes a play on words with his figure.
Manty (カマキュリー Kamakyurī) - Estimated disaster level: more than "Tiger"
    Voiced by: Yoshiaki Hasegawa
A rather huge mutant resembling a mantis, he was sent by the House of Evolution with other mutants to Saitama's house to capture the hero and bring him to their headquarter as a specimen and tried to take him by surprise, entering through the roof. Mosquito Girl (モスキート娘 Mosukīto Musume) - Estimated disaster level: "Demon"
    Voiced by: Miyuki Sawashiro
She was a Doctor Genus' prototype, an insectoid girl which resembles a mosquito with superhuman capability, also able to telepathically communicate with mosquitoes and have them draw blood from creatures up to 50 km away. When she absorbs enough blood she transforms, gaining even more incredible speed and strength. Mosquito Girl is the first enemy faced by Genos. She was draining blood from population and livestock in Z-City, causing lots of deaths, and started a hard battle with Genos, which tried to stop her. After her transformation, Genos let his guard down and was shattered by the mutant. However, before she could kill the cyborg, Saitama effortlessly intervenes and slaps Mosquito Girl away, killing her.

He was sent by the House of Evolution along with other mutants to capture Saitama and bring him to their base as a specimen. After facing a crippling defeat at the hands of Genos, who defeated him with some effort, and after he discovered that Beast King was killed by Saitama, Armoured Gorilla surrendered and revealed informations about the House of Evolution so Genos decided to spare his life. Later on, he helped Doctor Genus to transform the House of Evolution into a takoyaki restourant. In the anime, he makes a short cameo together with Doctor Genus when the Dark Matter Thieves attacked A-City, watching the report on the tv.
Beast King (獣王 Jūō) - Estimated disaster level: "Demon"
    Voiced by: Jiro Saito

He lost his control due to Saitama's attitude and after the hero escaped from Ground Dragon's trap, Beast King ignored Doctor Genus' primary order and tried to kill Saitama with all his fury, but the hero took him down in few time, killing him with his "Normal Consecutive Punches" attack.
Asura Rhino (阿修羅カブト Ashura Kabuto) - Estimated disaster level: "Dragon"
    Voiced by: Unshou Ishizuka
The strongest fighter of the House of Evolution by far, a massive beast resembling a humanoid rhinoceros beetle, he is dangerously powerful and smart, easily outclassing all of the other creations of Doctor Genus. Despite his level of intelligence, however, Asura Rhino had been deemed mentally unstable by Dr. Genus, and as such, remained chained and imprisoned within the House of Evolution's basement. His "Asura Mode" (阿修羅モード Ashura Mōdo), namely when he fights at his limits, in particular is so dangerous that his bloodlust and anger are said to last for up seven days nonstop. With his unsurpassed mental prowess combined with his animal instincts he can sense his enemies' power level, as demonstrated during his fight against Saitama. After Saitama and Genos travel to the House of Evolution, Doctor Genus unwillingly uses the unstable Asura Rhino as a last resort to stop Saitama. Despite all his speed and strength, further multiplied by his Asura Mode, he is explosively torn apart in one punch by an agitated Saitama when he discovered that he had almost missed the weekly bargain-day sale at the local supermarket. In the anime, his name was changed to Carnage Kabuto; Asura Rhino's color scheme and character design during "Asura Mode" also appear to be a nod to EVA Unit 01 from Neon Genesis Evangelion who has a similar "unstoppable rampage" during the series.

He's one of the three most powerful fighters of Boros' army, he is a grotesque and giant five-headed shape-shifting alien with impressive metamorphic ability which he can use to adapt his body as he wants, so he can even fly or create different type of melee weapons. He also has the ability to divide into 5 separate bodies, each capable of taking on an S-Class hero at once. His most notable ability is his cellular regeneration, with which he can recreate his body even after it was totally destroyed; the focal point of it being a small marble-like object that is hidden in each head. That particular point is the weak spot of the alien: if it would be shattered, the head carrying it dies. During the attack to A-City, he was sent to Lord Boros to the surface of the planet in reconnaissance with the duty of protecting the spaceship from outside. After he found in his way the Sky King and his underlings, he killed them in an instant because he didn't know what they were; moments later he landed down and encountered the first disciple of Atomic Samurai, Iaian, which tried to attack the alien but was utterly defeated in no time and even lost his right arm. When Melzalgald was about to kill Iaian, Atomic Samurai came to rescue him, supported by Silver Fang, Metal Bat and Pri-Pri-Prisoner, which started a hard battle with the extraterrestrial. During the fight, Melzalgald gave a hard time to the heroes, revealing incredibly powerful and since the heroes didn't know how to kill him, until Metal Bat found out the marble weakness. Through it, the group that ganged up against Melzalgald finally succeeded into killing one head after another. In the anime, he found a survived couple of father and son and tried to kill them, but was stopped by Iaian.

He possesses an acid breath that he claims could melt anything and a large arsenal of fighting moves, but he did use none of his ability since he tried to stop Saitama during his intrusion in the spaceship and was quickly killed by him.
Geryuganshoop (ゲリュガンシュプ Geryuganshupu) - Estimated disaster level: "Dragon"
    Voiced by: Hiroki Gotō
A shadowy big creature resembling the stereotyped octopus-like alien, he's one of the three most powerful fighters of Boros' army and is charged to operating into the control room of the spaceship; it is him which informed Boros about Saitama's intrusion and Groribas' death. Possessing impressive telekinetic and telepathic powers, he claims to be space's number one telekinetic. He ordered a massive bombing upon the heroes which were fighting Melzalgald, but Tatsumaki blocked the projectiles with her telekinesis and sent them back to the ship, causing it huge damages. During Saitama's intrusion in the spaceship, he telepathically contacted Saitama, warning him not to go further into the ship. Saitama blatantly disregards the order and does the opposite, charging into Lord Boros' throne. Geryuganshoop arrived too to the throne room and tried to kill Saitama, throwing at him a multitude of pebbles with his powers. However, Saitama took no damage and affirmed that such demonstration is the best way to waste phsycic powers, since anyone could throw some stone: after saying that, Saitama killed Geryuganshoop by slinging at him one of the pebbles the alien threw before. In the anime, Geryuganshoop meets and fights Saitama in the control room instead of the power core/throne room and he also possesses the ability to drastically increase the gravity around him with his psychic powers.
Boros (ボロス Borosu) - Estimated disaster level: more than "Dragon"
    Voiced by: Toshiyuki Morikawa[4]
The leader of The Dark Matter Thieves and self-proclaimed subjugator of the universe. He is a large one-eyed humanoid with spiky hair which wears an armor and clothes resembling some hindu deities. In the remake, he is shown wearing organic-looking armor along with pants similar to the type of clothes worn by characters in Dragon Ball Z, which was probably done so as a parody. He was by now the most powerful antagonist in the series, along with Garou (it's stated that them both were about almost equivalent strength by ONE on his Twitter stream): he has more than superhuman capabilities, can fire powerful energy blast from his body and can regenerate from almost any kind of injuries. He also can increase his already overwhelming power for short time with a boost that he calls "Meteoric Burst" (メテオリックバースト Meteorikku Bāsuto), during which he reaches his limits, irradiating pure energy from his body and becoming crazily strong. He grew so powerful that he became bored of the universe, never finding someone that could resist him and eventually coming to Earth following a prophecy that he would meet a man that could properly challenge him on that planet. He started so the invasion, attacking and destroying A-City with his mother spaceship; after Saitama entered the spaceship and killed two of Boros' best fighters, the alien confirmed Saitama as the man of the prophecy and ended up facing him. It seems like he is holding his own against Saitama during their fight, but after a long battle, Saitama used his "Serious Series: Serious Strike" (マジシリーズ マジ殴り Maji Sirīzu: Maji Naguri) and Boros was blown in half. He states with his final words that Saitama never truly bared his fangs and that prophecies are a bunch of nonsense because his power is beyond any prediction. Boros is an allusion to a previous work of ONE, Taiyo Man (Sun Man), and the origin of his name is derived from a game ONE played.

Even though he's decently fast and possesses a hugely destructive power, Homeless Emperor is not suitted for close quarters combat since his body is that of a regular person. During the attack to the Monster Association headquarter, he encountered Zombieman and gave him big troubles, since he blasted him many times until the regeneration capability of the hero could no longer keep up. Moments later, Tatsumaki flipped and smashed the headquarter and Homeless Emperor emerged from the ruins by himself, ganging up with the other high members of the Monster Association against Tatsumaki; he tried then to hit the skilled esper with a full-power attack, but Tatsumaki shielded herself with her powers and took no damage. Moments later, when King showed himself, he tried to face him together with Psykos, Evil Natural Water and Black Sperm; Homeless Emperor tried then to make the first move but when he was about to attack, King advised him that, since the headquarter was reduced to ruins, he have to pay attention to the loose rocks around him in order to don't fall. Homeless Emperor took it as a metaphoric way to say that he's powerless before King and even a four on one fight would be no problem form him, and interrupted his attack (in realty, King just wanted to buy some time). When he was still thinking a way to properly attack the "most powerful man on Earth", Zombieman caught him by surprise, attacking him from behind, and blocked the monster under his body, making him impossible to use his power against Zombieman without getting involved. The hero started then an interrogation to understand the nature of the monster's powers, but before Homeless Emperor could say anything, he was killed by the same mysterious entity which gave him his powers.
Black Sperm (黒い精子 Kuroi Seishi) - Estimated disaster level: "Dragon"
Easily one of the most powerful members of the Monster Association, he is a humanoid monster with a fully black body and a white face, with a typical antenna on top of his head. Another typical tract of the character is that every time a strong opponent brags with him or make show of his capacities, Black Sperm thinks that he's looking down on him and become very mad. He's capable of shape-shifting his form, shrinking, enlarging, possesses unparalleled strength and stamina: he claims to be a collection composed of 11 trillion 449 billion 1 million, 712 thousand 554 "himself's", each being an individual exact copy of Black Sperm, thus the source of his ability to seemingly split up infinitely. He is also shown capable of re-merging all of these cells into a single "ultimate form", named "Golden Sperm" (黄金精子 Ōgon Seishi), whose disaster level is never disclosed but which was shown to possess a crazily huge amount of power. He made his first appearance when he found the hostage kid trying to escape from the Monster Association, after the kill of Royal Ripper by Garou's hand, and tried to kill the boy, but was stopped by Atomic Samurai, which started a harsh battle with the monster. After a brilliant start, Atomic Samurai began to succumb to the overwhelming power of the enemy monster until he was inevitably defeated. Moments later, Tatsumaki flipped and smashed the headquarter and Homeless Emperor emerged from the ruins by himself, ganging up with the other high members of the Monster Association against Tatsumaki; after the skilled esper's psychic abilities was weakened by the surprise attack of Psycos, Black Sperm tried to grab her with a giant morphed arm and smash her to the ground, but he was stopped by Genos which carbonized the monster's arm with one of his attacks. When Bang joined the fight and started to slaughter every monsters on his way, a lot of Black Sperms were instantly killed by the hero and Genos thought that Black Sperm was history, but since the monster still had lots of "himselfs" stacked it was no big problem for him, taking this as an occasion to attack by surprise Bomb, knocking him unconscious, and Genos, ripping off his right arm. After Genos lost his left arm from Gums, he tried to fight back Black Sperm with only his legs, but was defeated by the monster in few time, which tore off even his legs and knock him away. Moments later, when King showed himself, he tried to face him together with Psykos, Evil Natural Water and Homeless Emperor but before it could start its attack, Sweet Mask and some S-Class heroes emerged from the ruins and attacked, so Black Sperm changed targed and started facing Sweet Mask, losing some of himselfs but giving the hero huge troubles with his power. When Tatsumaki recovered a little from the beating and dispelled Evil Natural Water with her psychic powers, Black Sperm was the last monster still able to fight and in order to not succumb against the powerful esper first he fused 1 trillion of himselfs to create "Multicell Sperm", and attacked Tatsumaki with him and a thousand of separated himselfs; she was able to kill every enemy in her sight in few moments, but it's revealed that was just a diversion to permit Black Sperm to reach Busaiku and take him as a hostage again. Plus, in that moments he created "Golden Sperm" fusing every himselfs left except the one hundred which took Busaiku as hostage. Golden Sperm reveals an unstoppable opponent and since the heroes at the scene can't make a move in order to preserve Busaiku's life, Black Sperm was about to win, but suddenly Garou arrived and, after he instanlty killed all of the Black Sperms which were holding the kid (except one little Black Sperm whom slipped away), he challenged Golden Sperm to a fatal battle which ended with the victory of Garou. The last Black Sperm left hides under some pebbles and watch the rest of the fights until the defeat of Garou against Saitama, waiting to recover energy. When Pig God came back to the scene, he witnessed to the definitive kill of Evil Natural Water and went really close to being found, so he decided to hide somewhere safer; in that moment he found Saitama, which returned to his former home place to take what remained of his furnishings and, after the hero encountered and treated the survived Overgrown Rover as a pet, Black Sperm thought about pretending to be some strange animal and followed Saitama to his new home, only to find out, with great discomfort, that was the Hero Association new headquarter. Black Sperm, together with Overgrown Rover, was then entrusted to Butterfly DX, Chain'n'Frog and Forte since they lost a bet with Saitama.

It reacts based on the emotions of the people around it: more intense the feelings are more active it is. During the attack to the Monster Association headquarter, it encountered Iaian, Slicing Sheman and Bushidrill and easily got rids of them; moments later he met Child Emperor and started a battle with him, giving him a hard time since all the equipment the child brought reveals pointless against the monster; plus Evil Natural Water destroyed it during their fight. When Child Emperor was about to lose, Tatsumaki flipped and smashed the headquarter and Evil Natural Water emerged from the ruins by itself, ganging up with the other high members of the Monster Association against Tatsumaki; it tried then to hit the skilled esper with one of its attacks, but Tatsumaki shielded herself with her powers and took no damage. Moments later, when King showed himself, Evil Natural Water tried to face him together with Psykos, Homeless Emperor and Black Sperm but before it could start its attack, Sweet Mask and some S-Class heroes emerged from the ruins and attacked, so Evil Natural Water changed target and hit Sweet Mask with some powerful jets, cutting off his right arm and piercing his chest; however, Sweet Mask reassembled himself thanks to his mysterious powers and continued with the fight. Child Emperor, Atomic Samurai and Pig God joined the battle and charged Evil Natural Water in order to induce the monster shooting a lot of its liquid and consume itself thereby making it easy to overcome, but unfortunately the monster didn't consume at all and was about to defeat them, until Tatsumaki recovered a little from the beating and dispelled Evil Natural Water with her psychic powers. However, the monster didn't die after that and reformed itself moments later, but only to be shattered again with a single punch by Saitama, arrived at the scene. Due to its incredibly tough nature, Evil Natural Water survived even after that, even though hugely weakened and dwindled to small size; Pig God, which thought about such a possibility, escaped from hospital and came back to the Monster Association headquarter's ruins to find and definitively kill the monster. After some research, the hero found what remained of Evil Natural Water and "drunk" it, killing the powerful creature once and for all.
Psykos (サイコス Saikosu) - Estimated disaster level: "Dragon"
Known with the nickname "Third Eye", she is the leader of the Monster Association, at first thought to be a monstrous and fat cyclopic creature, she is later revealed to be the former colleague and vice of B-Class rank 1 hero "Blizzard Of Hell". Though not as powerful as Tatsumaki, it is shown that Psychos is powerful enough to send out psychic signal to her colleagues from over great distances, as well as remotely control a "meat puppet", the monster thought to be her true body, from several hundred meters underground. Her speciality is to hugely increase the gravity near her enemy with her psychic powers; she is even capable of predict the future, possessing seer capabilities as well. Though way stronger than Fubuki, her arrogance and her lack of flexibility and technique makes her sloppier when in combat. Psykos is first seen (as her "meat puppet") when she received Garou in the Monster Association headquarter, after she sent three "Demon" level monsters to save him from the fight against Bang and Bomb, which Garou was about to lose. She directly asked Garou to join the Association, proving his monstrous nature by killing 100 human beings. Later, she called back to the base Royal Ripper and The Bug God moments later they could kill Garou, since she perceived the arrive of the group of heroes sent to attack the Monster Association. When Garou precipitated into the headquarter's basementseen, he met Psycos' "meat puppet" itself. They started fighting each other, but after few time, Psycos distracted Garou talking about Busaiku and hit the human monster by surprise with his psychic abilities, hugely increasing the gravity near Garou and knocking him unconscious, leaving then to face the S-Class heroes that were attacking the base. Psykos met then Tatsumaki and started with her a fight between psychich users. However, Tatsumaki defeated the "meat puppet" in no time, with her superior abilities, and discovered the true position and identity of Psykos, located hundreds of meters away from the fight. Tatsumaki, totally unimpressed, started to drag her out from her position with her psychic powers and arrived to flip the entire headquarter upside down. When the Monster Association base was nothing but ruins, Tatsumaki started facing all the strongest member of the Association together, but before she could start the fight, Psykos popped out from her location and attacked Tatsumaki with a psychic block, nullifying his powers and letting the other members hardly beat her. When Bang went to his rampage and easily killed Fuhrer Ugly, Gums, and part of Black Sperm, she blocked him with her psychic powers and Bang was totally defeated by Homeless Emperor's full-power attack. She then prepared to destroy all the enemies together with the still survived monsters, when King showed up and stood against them (without even knowing what exactly do). In the moment when Psycos and all the other monsters were about to attack King concurrently, the majority of the S-Class heroes at the scene, Fubuki and Sweet Mask emerged from the ruins and started to face the monsters; Psykos had to fight against Fubuki. We discover that, in the past, Psykos was a former disciple of Fubuki and her deputy in her psychic group, but after she saw something in the future she became totally mad. After she discovered Psykos was way more powerful then she, Fubuki used a special technique to deflect the psychic waves of her enemy. Psykos, more powerful but less flexible and expert, tried all she'd got against Fubuki and ended up unconscious. After the defeat of Garou, Psycos was brought to the Heroes Association new headquarter's prison for monsters, where she was later interrogated by Fubuki to answer why Psykos built the Monster Association and what future does she foreseen, but before she could ask the questions, Tatsumaki, which found out that Psycos was imprisoned there, came in totally furious with the intent to finish the survived monster. Psycos was then saved by Saitama from the fury of the battle between Tatsumaki and Fubuki, even if totally unconscious, together with a guard that Fubuki knocked out to keep him out of the matter. She wears a pair of glasses and a long light dress, in total contrast with Fubuki's clothes.

Also, Royal Ripper brought Busaiku back to the Monster Association headquarter to vent his blood lust on him, instead of killing some random allied. During the attack to the Monster Association, since he couldn't wait no longer, Royal Ripper began his torture on the poor kid, but before he could lay a finger on him, Garou entered the scene, determined to save Busaiku, and after taking some damage from Royal Ripper's attacks, he beheaded the cruel monster. Busaiko then tried to escape from the headquarter but was found by Black Sperm, which started chasing him with the intent to kill the kid, until he was stopped by Atomic Samurai whom started a harsh battle with the monster. Later on, she tried to reach his brother and she found him during his fight against Garou; she jumped then between them two, informing the human monster about Metal Bat's promise to never use violence in front of Zenko, declaring so the end of the brawl. Garou, which didn't wanted to hit the little girl, decided o retreat, respecting her persistence for anti-violence. Charanko (チャランコ Charanko)
    Voiced by: Toshiki Masuda
He's a young and weak martial artist which always wears a white gi. He was Bang's only and last disciple after Garou's rampage and self proclaimed "Bang's number one disciple", after that. Charanko's first appearance was during the fight between Sonic and Hammerhead, precisely when Hammerhead crashed part of a building with a huge rock, Charanko was shown as part of the mob which witnessed that. Although, at that point he had yet to be introduced, that is just a hidden cameo. He's official first appearance was when Bang invited Saitama and Genos to his dojo to show them his technique, becoming enraged at their dismissal of the martial art and challenging them both, but was instantly subdued by Genos. Moments later, when Bang was called to the Hero Association for the S-Class meeting, Charanko was delegated to take care of the dojo until his return. In a side story, Saitama and Genos were invited to have lunch in Bang's dojo together with him and Charanko. After Bang absented for a while to buy something, a group of criminal martial artists, the Harsh Path Stylists, entered the dojo in order to crush it and Charanko faced them, only to be knock back with ease. Saitama and Genos then took care of the gang (since they were disturbing their lunch), the dojo was half smashed due to the fight, with great bittern for Silver Fang. During Garou's "hero hunt", Charanko was "expelled" from the dojo because Bang wanted to keep him safe and the young martial artist visited Saitama and Genos to informe them about Bang's attitude, finding out that it was due to Garou. Charanko then started searching Garou to avenge Bang and his dojo's honor and found him during his beating of the Tanktop Fighters and License-lee Rider, charging the human monster and being heavily injured by him. Charanko is next seen in the hospital, heavily bandaged, and was visited by Saitama. Charanko then decided to give him his ticket to the Super Fight tournament, so that Saitama could go and observe various martial arts styles, cautioning him not to disguise as Charanko himself to enter the tournament, but his words go unheeded.

He possesses superhuman physical capacity, rivaling that of Silver Fang himself, even thought Bang should be stronger, and is master of the "Whirlwind Iron Cutting Fist" (旋風鉄斬拳 Senpū Tetsuzan-ken). Bomb is first introduced during Garou's "hero hunt", when Bang came to his dojo in order to ask the brother to help him stop his former disciple and Bomb accepted, finding Garou as a possible future threat for his dojo as well. They started then to search for Garou, finding instead the carnage from the beaten forms of the Tanktop Fighters, Tanktop Mater, Licenseless-Rider, and (regretfully for Bang) even Charanko. When the Hero Association decided to trap Garou using A-Class heroes as baits, Bang and Bomb encountered the monster Fist Fight Djinn during his rampage in a random city and which defeated Smile Man in no time, after the hero tried to stop him. Bang then faced alone the monster and, venting his enormous bitterness for Garou's situation, he slaughtered Fist Fight Djinn in an instant. Later on, the two brothers found the human monster when he was about to fight Genos, and started a harsh battle with him, overcoming Garou with their superior combined technique, but unfortunately the Monster Association sent three level "Demon" monsters to help Garou, which attacked Bang, Bomb and Genos by surprise and, after giving them a good beating, they run away carrying Garou with them; Bomb took a severe injury to the leg from Senior Centipede. Later on, he recovered and was invited to Saitama's place for dinner with the other friends of him and they made up their mind about the current situation. During the attack to the Monster Association, he came later at the scene (since his phone was accidentally disabled) with Genos, Fubuki and Bang, finding Overgrown Rover guarding the entrance and starting a fight against it. The monster revealed tough to the point that neither the combined attacks of the group could defeat it and Bang rhetorically asked why Rover couldn't simply shit down and stay calm; Rover understood that as a command and obediently sit, stopping the fight. The group then remained trapped under the ruins of the headquarter when Tatsumaki flipped and smashed it. When Genos and Fubuki decided to join the battle, Bang and Bomb too emerged from the rubble and Bomb stepped aside to let his little brother unleash his power and take care of the situation. However, he took things too lightly and when Bang was defeated, he decided to join the battle, only to be attacked by surprise by Black Sperm, which knock him unconscious.
